I just recently received this Affirmation Station and as soon as I saw the vibrant colors, I knew I was going to love it! My old affirmation station was already damaged from my firsties using it daily. So this was a much needed and welcome change for our room. I love how this affirmation station doesn't just have simple sentences like I am worthy (which are also great!), but it includes more insightful ones like, My problems have solutions, and The way you speak to yourself matters. We are choosing one of these meaningful affirmations each week, discussing what they mean and how we can apply them to ourselves, and learning them by heart. The fact that it looks GREAT in my room is just a HUGE plus. ;) I participate in the Brand Ambassador Program for Carson Dellosa and have received this product for free to review.

I love having this affirmation station in my classroom. My mirror is near the back of my room, near the Kleenex, and I find students taking time to remind themselves of all the positive things about them while they are blowing their nose or turning something in. I love using this when students are having a hard day too. It changes their mindset and helps them to get back on track. I am so excited to put this affirmation station up in my room next year. Right now, I do not have the space for it, but I definitely feel it will be a great addition to my calming corner! We already do affirmations with our virtues daily, so having this up will also just help implement these phrases to ourselves. Teaching our children to speak kindly to others is something we often do, but do we forget to teach them to speak kindly to themselves?
