Excellent Addition to Classroom
As a teacher who always tried to teach students to be self-reflective and use proactive strategies for classroom management, I think this is a great addition to the classroom. Calming and cute!
This is such a calming overall theme and this set-up has set the tone for a calming environment in my room now that testing has begun. The colors are adorable and I think this would go so well either in a school building hallway or in a classroom of any grade level! Personally, I laminated this and placed it on my classroom door! That way the kids see it each time!

THRIVE in the classroom!
This was a great addition to our classroom social contract. Our social contract are rules that my students have come up with. This addition helps my students remember how to treat others and how to speak to themselves to maintain a positive outlook. I especially like that it includes extra pieces for students to sign their names in agreement to follow the THRIVE mindset. When students need a reminder, we can always refer back to the THRIVE display and remind students that they signed to follow and commit to these ideas. Starting our Day off Right!
My goal as a teacher is to make everyone feel welcome when they walk into my classroom. I want students to have a safe zone and be able to share anything not only with me, but their peers as well. I have never found a more encouraging message board to create for my young students. It serves as a constant reminder to students that we all need to foster a growth mindset! We need to incorporate and infuse SEL curriculum throughout all lessons, every single day of the school year. As we do, the hope is that it lasts throughout the years and buoys children through difficult experiences with greater success at the end of each trial and tribulation.
