Carson Forge Lift-Top Coffee Table - Washington Cherry - Sauder

We are happy about the style of table and storage .. unhappy that it scratches easily when we assembled it .. on the lift top section. Need to polyurethane spray to avoid further scratches.

This coffee table is perfect for my living space. I really enjoy the lift on it! It makes using my computer so much easier! I definitely recommend this product.

Takes a while to put together. Had problem with some of the cams and putting the caps on them. One cam even broke. I like that the product was made in USA. Looks good.

Love this table. Had many, many parts but went together easily. Color was right on from advertising. Only have had it a month but no problems with the lift top so far.

This table replaced another lift top table I had. This one matches my other furniture and is perfect when I have friends over. We can lift the top and have a place to eat while watching movies.

Lift-Top Coffee Table fits well within our home with cherry walnut hardwood floors and other cherry wood-stained tables and furniture. Lift mechanism works fine. Perfect for couples who eat their evening meals in front of the TV. Assembly took me about 4-5 hours as you literally build it from scratch. But the instructions are thorough (even encouraging!) and admittedly there is a sense of accomplishment when you are done. . . like finishing a jigsaw puzzle. The size is right for us as it is smaller than other lift tables we own (at a second home). The surface holds two place mats nicely and doesn't overwhelm our rather cozy living area.

This is a great coffee table to go along with my matching end tables . However , I would recommend having someone with experience @ putting together . I had done most of putting it together except the top portion, & ended up having a second person to help me. I have a very impatient sister that tried to help me, and she ended up scratching the inside the inner portion of the coffee table . I had to ask her to leave . The next day I had my Son come over and he put it together in less than 10 minutes. The scratches were easily covered up with a permanent marker . I do love the fact that it raises up to do computer work on it at a great level for me .

Color of table in picture is not even close to actual color. A lot of money for pressed board. Also a lot of assembly required. Other than that it's fine.

I am retired and have a small apartment, so this coffee table was a good size and improved my living room storage space. I use it as a laptop desktop, a living room eating surface and a coffee table so I'm really enjoying the versatility of this piece of furniture! Very easy to put together if you follow the step by step instructions. I used hard cover books to bring the lift top up to the screw holes when attaching the top so my lift top works perfect! It opens and closes with ease.

I use the table in my TV room. CDs and DVDs store well inside. It is very heavy and sturdy. The details (footers, bumpers, and corner protectors) add to the high quality. I would prefer it a few inches taller so that there is a higher shelf. The only shelf is very low to the ground. Assembly is always easy with Sauder because the instructions are clear, consistent, and detailed.
