It didn’t control odor at all, even on day one for a young cat, and it doesn’t clump well.

First of all: No litter is perfect. However, after trying a great many, this is the best overall for my needs. It's been consistent for the 7+ years I've used it and I continue to recommend it. * Weight - for the same amount of litter it's easier on my arms carrying up a few flights of stairs. * Dust - Having tested against several other brands in my own house, it produces significantly less dust. Nothing is dust-free, but the residue and sneezing are way lower than most brands. * Clumping - clumps extremely well. Some others had lower dust or lower tracking, but they didn't clump worth a darn, and I had to change out the box a lot more frequently. * Odor Control - I had a friend over to my house for the first time, who said she had never been in a house that had cats where she couldn't smell that they lived there. I'm not a complete neat-freak, so I give credit to the litter over my own tendencies. * Tracking - one of my cats has very fluffy paws, which I found a lot of litter tends to get stuck in and then spread a bit more around the house. The smaller pieces and/or ingredients within this litter have led to less of it making its way elsewhere or staying in her paws. It still spreads somewhat (and her sister who likes to LEAP out of the litter box doesn't help), but it is significantly less than others I tried. * Long Lasting - A lot of litters will build up smells or residue quickly and need to be completely dumped and redone. With this brand, I've found I can keep adding litter for a month or more to a large litter box (no liner) before it's actually necessary to completely replace and deep clean the box.

I love —L-O-V-E— this litter, but H-A-T-E the packaging. Cat’s Pride, isn’t it time to do something about the plastic jugs? I have about 5 in my basement that I haven’t been able to upcycle. Cat’s Pride, please do something about it !!

This litter was the holy grail, not dusty, minimal tracking, superior odor control, great clumping. The formula changed and it’s not worse. The color is lighter and texture smaller grains, which means it tracks EVERYWHERE and clumps less well. I’m so disappointed a perfect product is now much less good and I’ll be exploring other options.

I originally bought this brand off Amazon, and the texture of the litter was great. Just like sand, dust free & track free. But this one from Target is the opposite, it tracks, and the consistency is more like regular litter. Very disappointing.

Great litter for cats. Tracks minimally, clumps well, and safe wood floors. Covers urine smell, but poo smell lingers. Cats love it. Try it out.

It clumps good, smells fresh and last long. I even purchased more after this ran out! There are not many litters out there so Im excited they came out with one that does what it says, smells pleasant and well priced! This is a must try if you have cats!

It also seems to have cut down on the little pieces of kitty litter that spill out and track all through the house. Very similar to many other litters that I have tried before, although it seems to mask the odor a little bit better.
