I never got acne before I started testosterone injections but after I started my skin has been incredibly oily and I haven't been able to get rid of the acne. I tried the Native cleanser, PanOxyl, and the CeraVe oily skin cleanser but this is the first one that really helped. I've had barely any acne and my skin doesn't get as oily in between washes now.

Scent is ok, packaging ok, ingredients ok, definitely overpriced cause if you have combination to oily skin your face isn't gonna be really clean with this even with a washcloth this was so disappointing. I used a toner after and couldn't believe how much dirt was left despite washing my face for a full minute like I always do. This is more for people with dry to sensitive skin I think but not someone who is oily, works outside and etc

I absolutely love this cleanser! I tried it for the first time about 5 years ago and it’s been my go-to ever since. It’s perfect for combination skin because it gets rid of the oiliness without drying your skin out. I have used others cleansers that have been recommended to me by dermatologist or that I’ve seen hyped up online but none of them work as well as this one. I keep on coming back to it. It feels really good on the skin and does not have a chemical smell. If there’s something that needs to be improved is the packaging, because if you buy the big ones (that will last you a long time!) sometimes the plastic tube that pulls the product out still get dark.

I took a leap in buying this because I thought it was pricy for a face wash. However, it is worth every penny. The effectiveness of it is 10 out of 10. Made my skin clear, the redness has calmed down, and the oil control is good also.

I’ve been using this cleanser for a while and I really like it. It does help reduce breakouts and leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth. But because it has salicylic acid, it can be a bit drying, so I definitely recommend using a moisturizer afterward. As long as I follow up with hydration, it works good for me!

Actually gave me acne and made my face red all day and extra dry. I stop using everything else to single this out to make sure this was what it was. Stuff like this is why I don’t use cerave anymore

This was my holy grail cleanser BUT the formula has changed and now I find my skin is more sensitive to the ingredient changes and now I feel like I'm back at square one trying to find a cleanser that keeps my sensitive skin clear and happy.

This cleanser is better than any other cleanser. Cerave Acne control has no harsh scent and the packaging makes it easy to use. The ingredients are exactly what you need to control your acne. I get ingrown hairs as well and use this cleanser on the areas where I get breakouts.

My daughter loves this product and has been using it for a year every day. It’s a little on the expensive side. The reason I gave it four stars is because she still has pimples and her face never cleared up. It has an easy pump to get the product out, which makes washing your face simple. The scent reminds me of a medication smell.

No I have try this brand I don’t like it and it horrible because I have seen no results and I have seen nothing but irritation in my skin and a lot of redness and more pimples. Also they act like 2% of Salicylic acid don’t talk way your pimples when it not even a lot in there
