I have dry, combination, cystic acne prone skin and it does a really good job with the oily parts of my face but it strips the dry parts of my face. However, all of my blackheads and sebaceous filaments have cleared since I started using this cleanser, so overall I'm happy with it. That being said, I'm on the hunt for a different face wash that balances the oily and dry parts of my face more.

This is a great affordable cleanser that works great for my dry, acne-ptone skin. I started using it when I had to switch to all hypoallergenic products. Feele great and cleans well without stripping or breaking me out more. Only downside is it does have a bit of a chemical smell.

This soap is very drying! I have normal, sensitive skin and rosacea. Cerave products usually work for me, but after using this once, my face felt dry and really tight, and my rosacea hurt until I washed my face with Clinique. If your skin is at all sensitive, you should avoid it. If you want something very drying, this might be the soap for you.

I really enjoy CeraVe products in general and this cleanser is no exception. I love this cleanser because it gets my skin clean without stripping it of moisture. This is extremely important because this product is removing oil and dirt without impairing the skin barrier which is important to ensure your skin isn’t irritated. I really love that this product contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid for moisture and niacinamide which can help reduce inflammation. I feel really good about using this on my skin because it feels like I’m cleansing and nourishing my skin all in one step. This is an excellent product that I would highly recommend as the first step in your skin care routine if you have normal to oily skin.

My favorite cleanser! I have sensitive skin and I’ve used this for about 6 months now and I recommend it. It allows me to use other acne products (toners, moisturizers, serums, etc) without having to worry about putting too much on my face at one time. I used to break out all the time and whenever I used other cleansers it would leave my skin feeling dry and my skin would react horribly. Once I switched to this cleanser my skin has been clearing up and I get minimal break outs (only happens when I stray a bit from my routine).

This is a very honest review since I see a lot of fake reviews. This product didn’t really do much but I like the smell of it a lot, I did hear that this product isn’t so good for your face due to the harmful chemicals so I did stop using it and I think my skin is a lot more healthier now

I’ve used this product up to 3 times. I actually love it to remove my makeup. It is hydrating and it has a good lather for the skin. I would recommend this for oily skin types though. I do have dry skin and the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser works best for me.
