I have dry, sensitive skin and mild rosacea. I have always used ceraphil facewash. Recently I decided to try this cerave wash in an effort to get clean skin without over drying. It is not for me. It doesn’t rinse clean, leaves an odd film and feeling. I guess that’s the moisturizer? I don’t know. It didn’t remove my makeup well and made my skin so so unhappy. I stopped using after a week and will return to my cetaphil. Everyone’s skin is different. :)
For a drugstore type cleanser it has a very luxurious feel. It worked well as a second cleanser but unfortunately it was too hydrating for me. Almost felt like I could not wash of it off. I will probably end up giving it away.
Excellent cleanser at a budget friendly price (works on sensitive and easily dried out skin)

It does a great job of removing all of the things the collect on you face over the day without removing drying my face out. I struggle with my face drying out as I am getting older and this is such a gentle cleanser. I use this most days and find my face very happy. My skin is sensitive and I have never had any issues with this product or any other CeraVe products for that matter. My skin responds very well to hyaluronic acid and that is in this CeraVe cleanser. I initially tried this after reading an article about CeraVe containing ingredients naturally found/needed in the skin. I previously used much more expensive cleansers and am trying to lessen my expenses. This is a great budget friendly option that also gives great results.
I use this product as a cleanser not a make up remover. I use it to clean the day off of my skin either after I removed my make up or I use just this if I was not wearing make up. (It is not effective as a make up remover.)
Have been using for about a week- so I couldn’t give 5 stars. I love that it is unscented. I think it works great. Haven’t worn much makeup in quarantine, but when I did the other day it took it off. Loving it so far!
