After applying this product on its own, it wasn't enough hydration and moisturizing going on. I live in a humid region and I could still feel my face being too dry. I can say that adding a layer of hyaluronic acid before applying this product does make a noticeable difference in keeping my face from drying out too quickly.
Perfect for oily and sensitive skin, so hydrating!

It got absorbed very quick and provides a nice base on which you can add on make up layers. Does not have any fragrance which is perfect and exactly how I like it. This gel moisturizer is so nice and light! It’s more of a cloudy serum than a gel. It’s extremely light and dries so that your skin feels moisturized but not sticky. There’s no scent and doesn’t irritate my skin. So far I really like it and would definitely purchase a full size bottle.

I received a free sample of the CeraVe Ultra-Light Moisturizing Gel, and it was enough for two applications—just enough to know that I loved it. I’m already a loyal fan of the CeraVe brand, using their lotion and facial cleanser religiously. I have very sensitive skin with occasional rosacea and typically struggle with dryness. Even after using moisturizers, I often find myself needing to reapply within a few hours. But this gel truly impressed me. Hands down, this is the best moisturizing gel I’ve tried yet. It applies beautifully—non-greasy, lightweight, no residue—and it sinks into the skin perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by how hydrating it was, especially given the texture. It wore flawlessly under my tinted moisturizer and would be an excellent base under sunscreen or foundation.

My face is sensitive and gets sweaty this moisturizer is great. I have such a hard time finding a lotion that doesn’t make my face sweat more than it already does. I found this and wow I’m glad I did. Feels wonderful and light doesn’t make my face feel like it can’t breathe. Can’t say enough about this my only wish is that it came in a tinted color as well.

I am really sorry for giving a bad rating for this product, i usually use cerave moisturizing cream and it works best on my skin, but then i bought this product because the review were and, still are, good. But unfortunately i got allergic reaction just few hours after using it. At first i thought it was because of something else. So i came back and tried the product again few days after, but unfortunately i got another allergic reaction less than 2 hours after using it, i got hive, rashes, it was ichy and burning at the same time... And i still don't know which ingridients that caused me to have allergic reaction!
