Champion Defender Elite Shin Guards

They stay in place with a textured backing that gives me the peace as the mother that will protect my child. My child is five years old, so there is a lot of mindless running and kicking, and I know with these shin guards that they will not move from under her sock! The color is neutral which I also appreciate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son who is 15 plays soccer and shin guards are must have for him while playing soccer.I got these champion defender elite shin guards in black color for him in size L/XL.This size works for ages 10+.He said this size fits him good and he can wear these shin guards in his next soccer practice.He never tried the champion brand but he is impressed by the quality of these shin guards.He said it have EVA backed foam which provides advanced protection and the low profile designs easily slips inside soccer socks and stays in place.

Just looking at the sizing of the height and width it really fits nicely and is comfortable. He is able to still move around nicely, keep them comfortably in his socks and maneuver as if they aren’t there at all. Great purchase for someone just getting started in sports to learn how to use it while being introduced to equipment too.

Have been worn for a few weeks of soccer practice and games and I was told they were very lightweight and felt very comfortable. My child prefers these shin guards to the style with the built in straps. They are meant to be worn with soccer socks that have the insert panel for shin guards but you can also just make it work with sports wrap. Without something to secure they will slip slightly during use but it didn’t bother my child. I like that they came with a mesh storage bag, easy to stash in the soccer bag.

The comfort on the inside is very nice and much better quality than I have experienced with other options for children this age. I bought these thinking that they would work well for my middle children that are 7 and 10. I went based on the sizing it says for heights 4'5 to 5'5. We already had some shin guards but I wanted to buy new ones for the new season. These ones seem way smaller than the ones we've used for a few years now. They are within that height range and these are just very small.
