Q: What are they made from?

A: They are made from a durable thermoplastic. They are made to last and last and not degrade or outgas in the hot environment of the dryer. Basically, use them for 10 years and then shred them into rubber mulch or an art project or a base for a pencil holder.

We hate these! We bought them to replace a different brand that we had for years. These dryer balls are so hard the just bang around in the dryer. They are so load that it’s disturbing. Sounds worse than putting shoes in there. Wish we would have saved the box so we could have returned them.
