Proud Spiru-tein consumer for over 20 years!
I've been using it for so many years as my breakfast if I try to eat anything else my stomach has a fit! The Cherries Jubilee is the families favorite flavor. Best when mixed with a strong flavor juice. Over the years have used cherry, punch, any cranberry mixed with another flavor and my current favorite is half punch half peach mango. The thicker the drink the more you get the taste of powder so I tend to use a little more than 8 oz and have also found it isn't the greatest for my paticular smoothie, but when I need to add some extra protein it's still drinkable.

Great for making tasty smoothies!
I like this mix as it has very little salt, a great flavor, and a good amount of protein. The only drawback is the fructose. I take my smoothies along on shopping trips in my cooler to "bridge the gap" to my next meal.

I have been using Spiru-tein for a long time. It has great flavor and texture. Most of their flavors are good and cherries jubilee is my favorite!

I use to only get the vanilla but I started to get the other flavors. I love the cherry. I mix it with greek yogurt and eat it as a dip for fruit

Love Spiru-Tein shakes!
Wish I had known sooner that Swanson had this. I'm not big on fixing good lunches during the work week. This shake is quick, easy, and it tastes great! I was skeptical at first because lots of "heath foods" don't appeal to my taste. I was very pleasantly surprised and I've been a fan ever since.

You really need to like Cherries....!
I'm generally what you could consider an "equal opportunity taster." I don't turn things away on the premise that I just "may not like" it. I'm usually not a cherry fan, but in some cases I think cherry is the way to go!! So I'm almost always on the fence on it, knowing that it could go either way with me. I did try this flavor knowing this about myself. I will say this - if you are someone like me who is generally on the fence about anything cherry flavored, just pass. With the spirutein/fruitein shakes, they tend to blend very thick (which is GOOD for staving off hunger and feeling satisfied for fewer calories) however, because of the thickness, the cherry flavor really seems to smack you in the face. And it's the type of cherry that almost reminds me of Runts candies, or some cough syrups and cough drops.... not like a desert cherry. Perhaps if it had some of Swanson's organic cocoa powder mixed with it, it would make a fairly decent chocolate covered cherry flavor - but definitely don't drink on it's own. If you just love cherry flavored stuff - you're in luck. This is probably DEFINITElY for you....
