Q: Can the shelf be removed. I need tall storage for a bathroom (for toilet brush and plunger).

A: The shelf does not need to be installed. It rests on 4 peg supports. There are three sets of peg holes for adjusting the shelf position. The shelf and pegs are completely removable.

Q: Can it be put together so the door opens on the opposite side?

A: No it cannot due to pre-drilled holes for screws but mainly the knob for opening the door would be at the bottom of the cabinet if installed on the other side.
submitted byDl73 - 8 years agoA: It can, but not easily. A template needs to be made for the inside wall hinge mounts. A new hole needs to be drilled to accept the handle, as the door needs to be flipped to install for left-hand swing. Then there's the unused handle hole to deal with. Good Luck.
