Product has changed
This is not an accurate product anymore. My dog loved this food as did I. It was low calorie and hac ingredients my dog could easily digest. They've changed the ingredients and now it makes my dog sick. I tried to gradually give it to him by adding it a little bit at a time, but it continued to upset his stomach. This product needs to be updated to the new product.

They changed something. The cans in the store now say Turkey Recipe Pate. I don't have an old can to compare ingredients, but my dog began throwing up when I gave him this new version. That's disappointing, as this food before was affordable and very good. I have used it for years. Please change back!

Backup to my dog's fresh food
I keep a few of these around for when my dog runs out of her fresh food. She likes the taste of them. I typically get the turkey or white fish, and she never has an issue with her stomach when she eats these without the transition. It’s the only canned food I’ve found that I can do that with. I’ve even sent her to be boarded with these cans, and I trust that she’ll eat it and be fine

I would be mindful
I used to buy a can of the kindful beef wet dog food not too long ago, for my sister's 2 dogs. She used to have an adult german shepherd and we still have her older small dog. However, the GSD when I used to give him this with his dry food had a sensitive reaction to it since most GSD's have sensitive reactions towards most dog foods (wet or dry solid). However the older senior dog did okay with the food, he has to eat wet food anyway because he can't chew on hard food anymore due to his teeth and his age. I do give this a 3/5 because the ingredients and texture are an iffy. However I wouldn't typically recommend this food to owners with dogs that have bad sensitivities or serious food allergies to any wet food with ingredients that I find really concerning. We have to be careful of what we feed our pets.

The 2nd ingredient of the BEEF flavor is CHICKEN
My dogs love this canned food, and overall it seems to be least troublesome to their sensitive tummies. The problem is one of my dogs is sensitive to chicken. I have checked the ingredients of every flavor, and buy only the ones without chicken. In a hurry, because beef is usually sold out at my Target, I saw it, trusted that it was beef only, grabbed a few cans of this flavor. It wasn't until after my sensitive dog started itching that I checked the ingredients and was shocked to find chicken as the second ingredient. This is so misleading! This is literally a beef and chicken product labeled incorrectly. Chicken is a common food sensitivity/allergy for dogs. They really need to put under the flavor name "ALSO CONTAINS CHICKEN."

Extremely dry. The point of wet food is to put some liquid in your dogs diet. I had to add water. We purchased the beef flavor. The dog didn’t mind it but I did. I want my pup to get the best out of his wet food.
