could hear something in the carton after i had poured the remaining half of the broth into a pot for cooking (yes, i used half before without even noticing this) i know that sometimes there’s gelatin in broths/stocks but this was new…safe to say i wont be purchasing any good and gather stocks/broths moving forward. thank god i had bought another carton from another store

Bought this chicken broth to use during thanksgiving. The top was grayish and soon looking at it realized the seal was broken and moldy. I don’t even want to imagine what it looks like inside. Seems this is a problem with everyone else. This isn’t the first time that Ive been sold something that was super moldy from target.

CONSUMERS BEWARE
First let me say that this post is just for public knowledge since Target doesn’t seem to be taking this seriously. On Saturday, I was making chicken soup. Put all the ingredients in, same ingredients I’ve always used. Let the soup simmer and tasted the soup. I have never tasted anything so foul in all of my life. Thinking there was something wrong with my taste buds, I had my husband taste it as well. He immediately spit it out. After some investigating, he discovered it was the chicken broth. He cut open the container and inside with the most putrid thing I’ve ever seen. Not even sure what it is, but looks like an animal carcass. He immediately called the number on the box to let them know and they did make a report. I did receive a follow up call asking if I received a refund. Are you kidding? Who cares about a refund, I want to know what we ingested. We were informed that the manufacturer handles product complaints and we needed to wait 7 days for a response from them. We are still waiting to be contacted. Just want to let customers know to check this product thoroughly before consumption. Pictures included, but be prepared to be instantly nauseated

this chicken broth is disgusting. I bought 5 of them because they were on sale for .99 cents (should’ve been a red flag in hind sight lol). Then, when i was making a dish i used it and when i went to go smell the dish it smelled horrible!! then i smelled the other boxes and then realized they all smelled like that. Do not buy these

Disgusting!
I poured my brand new container of chicken broth into my crock pot, once I emptied the entire container I thought it was weird it still felt like it hand something in it. I cut the top open and found a huge chunk of what I believe to be mold?! No idea what it is. I cut open my second container and it also had the same thing. I will NOT be buying this again!
