Doesn't Froth Anymore

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

This has historically been my favorite oat milk because it’s creamy and it froths so well in my nespresso frother. Recently, however, it seems like the recipe has changed because it doesn’t froth anymore. I thought it was a bad batch but three purchases later over the course of three months and I think this is just the new norm and it makes me sad.

This oat milk is great for coffee! It’s thick and creamy. I mainly use oat milk only for my morning coffee and this gets the job done. Some of the other brands can be pretty watery. It also works well with a frother for espresso based drinks. Try it out!
Healthy change welcomed!!

I understand that it’s not as frothy as before, but the company made a change from using a non healthy chemical in order to produce a healthier product. How can people complain about that?? I support the change 100%

Why in Gods name would you change something that didn’t need to be changed?! It’s so frustrating when companies do this. I will be going back to Oatly.

How chobani thought they could quietly change the formula without anyone noticing. It's actual crap now. It went from the best oat milk on the market to being undrinkable. Tragic. I was a loyal chobani customer for 2 years, buying 2-3 cartons a week for lattes and protein shakes. Not any longer.
Tragic, unannounced recipe change.

Tragic recipe change. Will not repurchase. You didn't label the change, you thought we wouldn't notice? Such a flat tasteless oat milk now, and more calories. A shame. I'll be finding a replacement after purchasing several cartons a week for at least 2 years.

New recipe is AWFUL! I’ve been buying this oatmilk for years and thought maybe it was a bad batch or that I was going crazy. Glad to see I’m not the only one unhappy with this change. Unfortunately, I’ll be swapping brands.

I have been buying this oat milk for years. It was the only oat milk to my taste preference after trying so many different brands. Recently, Chobani decided to change the recipe and it is awful! I usually drink it with my matcha lattes and I had noticed a major taste difference recently. It was really thin, watery, and had an aftertaste like dish soap. I initially thought maybe it was my cup or a bad batch of oat milk, but I noticed time after time, even after opening another oat milk, I was having the same problem. I did some research online and discovered they changed the recipe! I’m beyond disappointed and I’m currently in search of a new brand. Chobani, I am urging you to please use your original recipe again because you are losing a long time customer.

bro I knew I wasn’t crazy when my latte tasted awful. I have been purchasing this milk for 5-6 YEARS, and have had it almost every single day. Why would you guys change the recipe when it was already perfect? I am so disappointed and now I do not even know what oat milk to buy anymore. Thanks a lot for nothing !

We’ve been buying Chobani oat milk for our matcha lattes for months. We were so disappointed when the last two cartons we opened tasted awful and didn’t froth. We thought maybe it was just a bad batch, so we opened a new carton with a different date and it was even worse. After a lot of googling we realized they’ve changed their recipe. Now we have to look for a new milk. Really disappointing Chobani.

Bought the plain version thinking it meant “unsweetened.” Only to find out there are several grams of added sugar per cup :/

Unannounced recipe change makes this oatmilk and everything you mix it with un-drinkable. I have been using Chobani Original Oat milk for 2 years, purchasing 2 cartons a week to use in iced lattes. For the past 2 weeks my lattes have been tasting terrible and I have cleaned my espresso machine, bought different coffee beans, etc. to try and fix the taste when all along it was this terrible new recipe ruining my drinks. I only found out about the recipe change by extensive googling and sorting by recent reviews. You went from the best oatmilk on the market to the worst and I expect you will see sales decline sharply as this is nowhere near the product your customers are used to purchasing.

The new recipe change is awful. I loved the previous version and used it every morning to make a latte at home. I don’t even care about the frothiness of it as much, but the taste is terrible. I thought maybe my coffee was weak, but I finally bought a carton of Oatly and it was back to tasting exactly like it had before. I will no longer be buying Chobani unless they go back to the previous recipe.
No longer oat milk. unannounced recipe change.

New recipe is a travesty. Tastes like watery nothing with a touch of artificial sweetener. I drank this every single day before! Now can’t even imagine finishing the open package. Throwing away all the cartons I have at home and starting the search for a new oatmilk.

This used to be my favorite Oat milk, but they have changed their formula (without any indication) and I will absolutely not buy it again. I use oat milk in my coffee, and to steam/froth for espresso. This new formula will not froth at all, and tastes bad in coffee. Did they not do any consumer testing on this? Across the internet people only have bad things to say about the change.
