I decided to try this when I read about avocado oils being a healtier alternative to vegetable oils. So far, I've used it for sauteeing & frying on the stove and to grease my pizza pan, and it works great for both. The oil doesn't add any sort of flavor, so food cooked in this tastes the same as food cooked in vegetable oil. So, I plan to continue using this instead of vegetable oil. The only reason I give this 4 instead of 5 starts is that it's pricey.

I just started using this instead of canola oil, and it's working out well for my stir-fry and other high-heat recipes. Although I like this product, my first choice is the extra virgin cold pressed avocado oil. But I'll wait on that until, if and when, pricing becomes more consumer friendly.

After I learned that olive oil is not meant to be used for cooking, canola oil is bad for you due to its processing, and that avocado oil was a great substitute because of its high smoke point, I tried this brand that my daughter recommended. I really like it! Have used it for frying and for baking. No odd taste whatsoever, and I have not noticed any negative effects on my baked goods. Very pleased and would recommend it!!

It’s Avocado oil, expeller pressed, which is the best to use. I am surprised, though, it arrived in one piece. The bottle is glass, and the only packing used, was a thin, cheap cardboard net sleeve, and one piece of pillow packing. The bottle could move around freely in the box. I guess the carrier deserves props for not breaking it.
