Disappointed After the UC Davis Testing
I’m extremely DISAPPOINTED. UC Davis testing found that both tested samples of Chosen Foods Classic Avocado Oil Mayo were inconsistent with the chemical profile of AUTHENTIC avocado oil. The study found that 10 of 14 avocado oil mayonnaises tested failed overall. I specifically bought this mayo to avoid SEED oils, and now I no longer trust the “100% pure avocado oil” claim. I won’t be purchasing it again. DO BETTER CHOSEN FOODS. Not choosing to throw my money away with them any longer.

Gets a 2 ⭐️ because it tastes great! The problem is that a new study that tested the ingredients determined that the Avocado oil is a lie. It contains sunflower or safflower oils. In other words we’re paying a premium price but not getting quality ingredients!

Expensive but tastier and healthier ingredients than other big brands.
Great tasting, healthier ingredients and a better alternative to most other, inexpensive mayo brands that have chemicals and soybean oil or other inflammation causing seed oils. I wish it came in a larger size than this 12 ounce jar which was nearly $9.00. The price and small size are the only negative things I have to say about this mayonaise. The price and small size are the only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. I may just have to try to make my own mayo.

Wanted to love it, but it has on "off" taste.
We are trying to make “cleaner” healthier eating choices. I had read that this mayo was a great choice. We wanted to live it, but it tastes pretty terrible. It has a very strong avocado oil taste. My daughter wouldn’t eat sandwiches with it, and it ruined the flavor of a few dinner dishes I made using it. The texture was very creamy and nice, though.

Not the mayo one is used to!
I bought this thinking I was making a healthy choice. Bad choice for me. It tasted terrible. It ruined the flavor of a cold chicken salad I was making. Odd taste, I’m sticking to Hellmans or Dukes mayo from now on.

Solid Clean Mayo
This is a really easy review. If you don’t want the seed oils get this stuff. It’s more like miracle whip than mayo. I hate olive oil and you can’t taste anything Avocado when you use it for a BLT or mix it in egg salad or whatever you’re using it for. It’s spendy for the little jar, so either buy it or don’t buy it, no one actually cares. I gave it 4 stars for taste (not 5 for price). You’re welcome!

The best tasting plus healthier choice!
A healthy alternative plus it is lower sodium than most mayos--trust me, you will not miss the salt at all. This is the only Mayo that we use; creamy and perfect! (Please carry the larger jar.)
