The stools are as pictured and do look nice once set up. However, I can’t believe that these are sold at a target. These were absolutely atrocious to build and took about 4 hours of grueling work. The screws are not conformed to the pre cut holes (those that were actually precut because some were not) so every screw took about 5 minutes of hard force and labor to screw in. It was seriously a bad joke at how much time and how hard it was to put these together. Currently, some screws aren’t all the way in because they would no longer turn despite two people going at it. So, since they were $200 for both I know cheap is cheap. Only buy them if you maybe hire someone to build them for you or if you have incredible patience. I would not buy them again and instead spend more for a better product.
