Q: How many inches are between the base stand and the edge of the table for knee room?
A: There’s about 10–12 inches of knee room from the long side edge to the base, and 12–15 inches from each end of the table to the base.

I ended up buying the table and it has 11” on the long sides and actually 19” on the ends. 11” does not give very much room for feet to extend out. Also unless you install the base top completely flush, the table will sag a bit in the middle.

Q: How much space is between the base and the edge of the table for knee room?
A: For the Christopher Knight Home Tessa 84" Dining Table, the pedestal base is centered and fairly wide, so the space between the base and the table edges is approximately: About 15–16 inches from each end of the table Around 10–12 inches from each long side You’ll have comfortable legroom on the sides, but limited knee space if sitting at the ends — which is why it comfortably seats 8 people (3 per side, 1 at each end if needed).
