Q: Is this product a rename of the chuckle and Roar “dream sand” or is it different?

A: The biggest differences are the hand feel. Dream sand is softer, and Grand Sand is a grainier, stretchy texture. Grand Sand can also be used in water and Dream Sand cannot. Dream Sand is super smooth and satisfying and ‘squishier’ than Grand Sand. Grand Sand is firmer and holds it shape better and can typically be molded easier than Dream Sand which tends to lose its shape after a bit of time.

Q: Is this product taste safe? And does it contain artificial dyes?

Artificial dyes are used to color this product.

These are great but tiny, I recommend 2 for each kid. I like to give my kids cookie cutters with the sand, they love it. We play with it in a big bin outside.

I purchased this sand for my 2 1/2 year old grandson and he absolutely loves it!!. He runs his trucks through it, we have molds to make shapes out it, we cut it, roll it (with playdough tools) and it does hold up in water (put it in a container). The sand does clean up easy, doesn't stick to his fingers and just overall fun playtime for him and doesn't dry out if left out for hours. I find this sand more fun for him then the Kinetic sand and the mess of playdough at his age.

Molded in only a week of use! Never had the issue in other brands. And this, I am supposed to give my 6 year old to play. I am glad I looked at it before he started playing

I love that the sizes are just right: not to small, not too large for one play. The sand is soft and melts or harden upon interaction. Definitely buy again for their color mixing experiment.

This is currently our preferred kinetic sand (for a 3 year old). It's easier to work with than the other main kinetic sand brand (not quite as silky soft so my 3 year old can manipulate it easier). Plus, it doesn't stain hands like the other brand. We like the small containers, but I hope they will also come out with larger amounts of the same color too!

My son loves Kinetic sands and play doh this was such a cute fun toy that came with the containers which made it 10x better definitely recommend , we bought one for a birthday party for another kid and it’s inexpensive!!!

Great option if you’re looking for kinetic sand for ages 2-3! Standard kinetic sand falls apart faster while this option is easy to manipulate but holds together for smaller hands with slower reflexes. Also can be separated by color if kids attempt mix it - not thoroughly but more easily than other kinetic sands.

Was a gift from a friend. Everyone who has played with it loves it. There’s something satisfying about how it melts as you play with it. For me, the most important thing is it doesn’t dry like play doh so kids can play with it forever. It comes with 3 little containers so they make great on the go toys too.

Not sure if dream sand came first or second, but this formula is trash and I hate it. It’s way too flaky and makes this a task instead of play. Dream sand is 10x better.

I love that the colors had their own containers! It makes it a great option to pack for on the go or travel as well. The texture of this play sand is really soft and it isn't super messy... we are big fans!

I love to have these on hand for my 25 month old when she needs something new to play with. It comes in a pack of 3 colors: red, blue, green. It doesn’t dry out so it’s long lasting. It’s easy to scoop off the table & ground. If you mix all the colors, you’ll get purple. I recommend these.
