I appreciate the effort with the packaging but the deodorant itself is rock solid and you can never just apply it smoothly. I had to dampen the top and my underarms first if I didn’t want it to be painful lol. I’ve been using the trader joe’s deodorant instead and I’m glad I made the switch.

The ingredients are great but it loses its shape quickly and crumbles quickly especially in warmer climates.

I really wanted to love this for the eco-conscious factor. So if it was just the fact that it’s super messy I definitely would have dealt with it. But unfortunately it didn’t work at all for me and left me STANKY even on days I didn’t do that much physical activity.

I am a really sweaty person, I will be the first person to sweat or be much sweatier than everyone else in any situation. I’ve tried the “clinical strength” deodorants, other aluminum-free and natural brands, and overall they’ve been okay. I did detox my armpits for a couple of months and I daily use an AHA on my armpits at the end of the day to clean and kill bacteria. (I searched armpit care/health and it helped a lot.) So in that context, this deodorant, for me, is the best I have ever found. It keeps me feeling pretty dry especially for not being an antiperspirant, or sweat dries more quickly. It keeps me smelling great as well! If I have a sweaty shift at work I might apply in the morning and when I get home from work, but a lot of days I only apply in the mornings and I don’t smell, even at the end of the day. I use a little scoop I got from a lip balm to get a pea-sized amount, put it on my fingertip, let it soften on my skin for a second, and rub it in. It feels really nice and moisturizing, and the lavender smell definitely lasts all day too :) It is a bit higher in cost for deodorant, but not really compared to other natural brands. This lasted me about two months, and I just ordered more. I hope that helps!

I was hopeful for a zero waste deodorant, but this mushy and not solid. Recommend storing in the refrigerator in order to use.

I've tried all kinds of natural deodorants including Lume. Lume works but still use plastic so I continued my search until I found this! It's tiny but it may last a while. I'm trying to find the least amount of product I can get away with. So far, it lasts the whole day!! Like with most natural body products, the scent almost doesn't matter because it only smells good when you first open the package then it vanishes altogether. Maybe one day someone can do something about it. Until then, I prefer this over artificial scents trying to escape my body when I sweat.

Is this a joke?!?!? For $13.99 I received something that seriously is the size of a sample…it wouldn’t even qualify as the size of a guest soap. Back it goes. What a waste of money. Value for the money? I think not. Smells great though through the teeny tiny box. Well there ya go, a bit of a ray of sunshine.

Such a great deodorant!! Applies nicely and smells phenomenal, and it really keeps you smelling great throughout the whole day!!! Totally recommend!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely one of the better smelling natural deodorants that I have tried, but it is certainly one that is meant for people who do not sweat much or are planning on not doing much activity that day. It still lacks some longevity and wears off after too much movement. I was concerned with the dark color that it may leave residue / stains but that was never an issue at all. It would be a great winter deodorant or one for days when you are just hanging out. The smell is lovely.

This one has received recognition for being clean and green so I really like that. The scent I received was Sweet Surrender, Lavender Vanilla. Wow is thing thing heavily fragranced. The lavender fragrance is ridiculously strong and I barely put any on. I can smell it all day. Seriously it started to give me a headache after a few hours. Plus if you wear perfume, it will be competing with the scent of this deodorant. I was concerned about the color of this deodorant. The charcoal content makes the product speckled gray in color. It goes on clear though. So that's good. Another problem is that it doesn't do squat for sweat. Living in Florida, I need something that helps control sweat. This does not at all. This product is not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this deodorant a bit ago and I was a bit unsure of the lavender vanilla because usually vanilla is a bit overpowering in my opinion. However I was pleasantly surprised that wasn't the case here. It's a soft deodorant that goes on smooth and lasts a long time even through two benzoyl peroxide body wash showers. I have sensitive skin as well and had no issues using this.

I do have sensitive skin, and this is sometimes an issue I have with some natural deodorants. I wish it wasn't the case with this one because I really liked how smooth it applied and the scent. I stink after only 6 hours. Also, why send a new bag each time? You should make sure people have to opt in to that rather than opting out when they have a subscription.

It holds up better than i expected and it didn't leave any residue after applying the product. Overall I really liked this product.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. The scent is light and fragrant! I absolutely love the lavender vanilla. It lasts me for the whole day and I perspire quite heavily. It may not work for everyone, but it does a great job for me. My husband constantly tells me how good I smell when i haven't even applied a fragrance. Do you perspire much? This is the deodorant for you. Just pick your fragrance, you will be pleased.
