Add a label?
I just used both these bins and the totes for a camping trip (and storing all the gear when we are back). Love them and exactly what I was looking for. My only suggestion - how about adding a place for a label so we can label what's inside. Like a clear envelope type label and slide a piece of paper in the slot to indicate the contents. Thanks!

Would not recommend..
Ii bought these wanting to love them, but I hated. When you place items in the bin, the width of the bin stretches out, which in turns makes the lids not fit. Even when it doesn’t stretch out the lids aren’t secure. I wished instead of the lids clipping into the bin itself, it was slide through to close it. First time using it broke. I like the idea of it being collapsible only. Over all, I would not buy future ones nor recommended to others.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!! IT is not clever at all. It collapses and breaks down while you are carrying items!! Waste of money. Horrible and SHAME ON YOU clevernade for selling such products to your consumers. This is VERY CHEAP AND EXTREMELY NOT WELL MADE!!!!!

Exactly what I was looking for
It took me a minute to figure out how to get them to click on place. These will be incredibly helpful for our camping stuff. They fold down so nicely to store but able to be pulled out and set up quickly and easily. They then store on our shelves nicely protecting our gear in the off-season

Best storage bin you can buy
The CleverMade bins are wonderful. So much better than the mass market storage containers that are meant to be stacked inside each other so the retailer saves on shipping costs but which waste shelf space when stored on a shelf. Those containers don't stack well as they transfer the weight of the containers on the top into the lid of the containers below. The CleverMade bins pass the weight straight down the sides of the bins below, to the floor, like milk crates. The advertising says you can stack them 3 high and put 100 lbs inside one. I don't take that to mean that you could stack 3 bins, with 100 lbs in each. First off, how would you lift a bin with 100 lbs in it? (Be realistic now :-) What I do think in practical terms is that you can stack up 3 bins with a total of 100 lbs in the stack above the bottom bin. This suggests that you could stack up 5 or 6 bins with a total of 100 lbs in the stack above the bottom bin (including the weight of the bins). The mass market container has one advantage: it is more or less bug proof and has a fairly water resistant lid. My solution to this is to use large reclosable bags (the ones made with two closures) inside the bin. If you also stick a bar of inexpensive sandelwood soap inside your contents are bug and moisture proof.

not as beefy as I hoped.
First inspections and trial runs were disheartening. I had hoped to use these for some heavier-duty applications, or at least feeling confidant in loading one up with canned and dry food for camping trips, but I don't think it'll handle that. I used it for bedding and outerwear organization. The Lid is also a joke. I can't wait for those little plastic tabs, which so delicately convince it to stay in the air, to break off.

Almost Perfect
I have the Clevermade collapsible laundry baskets and LOVE them. Customer Service was also amazing when I had an issue with them. When I found these totes, they seemed perfect for organizing stuff in my camper and truck - and they are - almost. The issue I have is the covers and the tabs that hold them - they need some re-engineering to be stronger. I have already sheered several the tabs off of 3 of the totes I bought, and 2 of the covers have cracked. The issue was from my either putting something apparently too heavy on top, and in a couple of cases, my pup (60 lb lab) putting her front paws on the top. Given that these totes are stackable - and the do stack well on each other - I just expected the tops (and mechinicim for holding the top up) to be much more durable than they are.

Must Have!
I absolutely LOVE my storage bins! I keep them in my trunk for groceries and they are a total lifesaver especially at stores that don't provide grocery bags. My trunk isn't full of countless random reusable grocery bags any longer and it’s much neater back there since these crates stack so nicely when collapsed. These save you so much time getting your groceries into the house. Completely worth the money, you won't regret getting them.

I have had the same storage bins before this purchase. Have never had one break. They work well and when someone in my family sees me use them....well, I just have one less bin. I would give them away, so this order was to resupply myself !

Awesome Bins
These bins are great for storage or moving. The sturdy frame (and the lid) protect items from damage. They are also sturdy enough to stack fairly high without worry of them tipping over. These have an advantage over other “milk crate” bins in that the walls are solid. You don't have to worry about small items falling through the cracks. I considered knocking off one star because they might be considered a bit pricey, but when bought in a three-pack they are more affordable. And, they appear to be worth the money.

Great investment for me except...
My husband n I got the crates a while ago...quality is good and what a creative idea to store in limited space. it was so great to use it in the car, as well as outdoor camping. Unfortunate, the lids were missing after our last camping event and we could not find any where to buy the lids.... so sad. The whole things are incomplete now...

Awesome space saver!
I bought this and immediately thought it was a waste of money. I was wrong. I have very little room in my truck and I haul wood in it for our winter heat. I pull out the crate which fits nicely in the cab with all my other wood cutting gear, and I load my groceries into it that I just bought. Now I can put all my groceries in the back or on top of my other crate. It keeps my supplies all in one place and in order!

One of the items came damaged but Abbey from support helped square that away immediately. The customer service left me very impressed. The containers are sturdy and they look great to boot. Very happy with the 46 liter size too.

Surprised...in a good way
I didn't expect to like these as much as I do, very versatile storage bin. Clever idea with the lid being hidden on bottom when collapsed. Will keep these and use for a long time to come.
