I do not recommend this product, although the packaging was very nice. The ingredients looked healthier though.

    Energy Dense Snack

Definitely a good snack for those who need to replace a lot of calories especially on the trail. The flavor is not too sweet, and is mostly an earthy or natural taste. I know that energy/protein bars are not to be great tasting, but I wish they would make one that is worth passing up a meal. These gave “chalky” which made it hard to enjoy. The saving grace for the chocolate chip ones, are the chocolate chips. The chocolate brownie one is an inquired taste. You may enjoy these, but not me.

The flavor is there, and I honestly like the brownie one more than the chocolate chip, but it still has a protein powder kind of taste to it. It’s great to use in a pinch to hold you over for the day for hikes and outdoor activities, but I honestly wish there was something they could do about the protein powder taste.
