Born on a 175-mile bike ride, CLIF BAR energy bars are purposefully crafted with a mix of protein, fat, and carbohydrates to help sustain active bodies before and during long-lasting activity. CLIF BAR energy bars are made with quality ingredients like wholesome organic rolled oats and no high-fructose corn syrup, and they are non-GMO and plant-based for a granola bar you can feel good about. As part of the CLIF brand mission, our 2 LEED certified bakeries and Emeryville, CA office run with the help of on-site solar arrays and/or offset electricity through the purchase of renewable energy credits (RECs). When I don’t have time and on the go these are the perfect grab for a snack. They provide me with a great source of energy! These do however have a chalky after taste but not as bad as other bars. They don’t offer as much protein as I would like so often times I need to split them when my toddler. I do feel better about feeding something like this to my kids than other bars though.

I recently picked up a box at my local Publix having not had this flavor for a minute. What happened? Is this a new formula? These used to be sweet like a chocolate chip cookie but now they taste like sawdust! Upon some cursory research it appears Clif bar was recently bought out so I guess I'm not surprised the quality has gone down. Also, what is with the deceptive badging on the box--"now 10 bars!" The boxes used to have 12 bars. Now they are advertising less bars like it's a feature. This seems like a deliberate way to mislead shoppers who don't buy them regularly. Won't be purchasing Clif products anymore.

these have true Chocolate Chip Cookie Taste.... had to order these factory direct because nobody can keep 'em in stock!! Being 9 miles from closest ride area & having no CDL I only go on Saturdays for a whole day & have to stop myself from dipping into my Clif Chocolate Chip Bar during the week!!

I use the chocolate chip bar for in between meals or on the go when I need a boost. It also helps if you need to control your weight and it is very good for the digestive system if you have a problem with being unable to go to the bathroom. It has great fiber for these moments!

Clif have reduced the count of bars per box (6 to 5, 18 to 15 and so on) but they raised the price on the larger counts in the months leading up to this so that now these smaller boxes cost as much as the larger ones used to. They lable the packaging as if it's *more* than it used to be.
