submitted byTarget Brand Expert - 2 years agoA: Product info below says twice it’s ok to reuse if clean them and then once at the very end says don’t reuse basically because the consumer is not competent enough to clean this device properly…then why do they say multiple times that it’s so affordable? Because I’ve never spent this much on cotton swabs maybe 1/2 the price and I get hundreds instead of 10. If they can’t get their mind made up if it’s ok to reuse them then I’ll pass personally. I have been using these since my son turned one year old and I have not stopped buying them since. At my son's one year old appointment, I learned that he had a lot of ear wax built up. The doctor kindly removed it there and suggested I purchase something like this to keep up with it at home. They are very easy to use and absolutely effective at cleaning. I like them a lot better than q tips because q tips will push more wax in than they take out but the scoop like design of this allows the wax to be removed easily. It's not painful to use at all, in fact my son enjoys it and asks me to clean out his ears often. I would definitely recommend using this over any other product.

They were hard and dangerous. Instructions said don't insert past a certain point, which I could not determine. I think I punctured my ear drum. A trip to Urgent Care could not confirm or deny the puncture. They referred me to a specialist during the pandemic and I couldn't get in. I think my ear healed on its own. My hearing seems to be back to normal. Don’t buy these -- they aren't safe.

Perforated my eardrum. DO NOT USE. I just got back from the ER with a diagnosis of perforated eardrum. I have total hearing loss in the affected ear. Never ever use this!

Just stick with Q-tips unless you have ears that overproduce wax. Waste of money for myself.
