I had struggled with acne since my teens. I had the ugly boils that were under the skin awful. I tried everything even accurate nothing worked. One day on vacation I went into ulta for mascara and a Clinique lady came up to me and asked if she could show me a picture it was a girl with acne like mine and she said Clinique helped me her skin was beautiful. She showed me this and the gentle foam cleanser I no longer have acne issues I love this.

I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and this is the only toner/exfoliator tgat has ever worked for my skin. It preps my skin great fir makeup and I even use it on my clients when I do a makeover because its the only thing that will help with patchiness.

I can feel a difference when using the toner. it doesn't take much so it lasts a while. my only suggestion is having some kind of a better distribute. it'd be nice if it had where you could squrt a little bit on a cotton ball.

I have flaky skin from trentinoin and this has been perfect for smoothing and removing flakes before skincare/makeup. I appreciate how gentle and effective it is, there's no burning or sensitivity after using twice a day. Would definitely recommend this as an exfoliator for someone with super dry/sensitive skin.

Absolutely great for mature, drying skin. I am middle aged and decided to try the 1.0 Clarifying Lotion from Clinique again. When I was younger I always used number 3 and then 2. And then I stopped using it. But my mature skin still needs the cell turnover that creates bright and soft looking skin. And this alcohol free version is fantastic. It gives my skin a very clean look and after 2 weeks of once daily use I looked younger. Yeah!! Twice a week I replace it with the Clarifying do-over peel. That's another great product to promote cell turnover and create beautiful skin.

I love this product. I don't have to do much with it. I have combination skin but mostly Dry, and this has renewed my skin and it looks so pretty. I have only been using it a week but so far I love it and it will be apart of my daily until something better comes up.

For a long time I was scared to incorporate an exfoliant into my routine, because I have VERY dry, flaky, and super sensitive skin. My skin has gotten to the point that it was screaming it needs help exfoliating. The Clinique consultant at Ulta recommended me this product, and with it being 50% off at the time I decided to give it a go. It's amazing! It's SUPER gentle, non-drying, and doesn't make my skin feel right afterwards at all. No burning whatsoever, it just feels like water honestly. My skin feels super soft after using and looks glowing. I should have bought both bottles! Highly recommend for all my super dry and sensitive skin girlies.
Bring back the mild formulation!

I used the mild clarifying lotion for years back to when it was called the aloe based clarifier. This product is not even close to that product. Instead of camping my rosacea it causes it to flare up. It also causes patches of dryness on my face. Please bring back the old product and stop trying to pass this one off as the replacement.

I've been using Clinique toner 1 for years but this is the first time trying this version. I love it. Doesn't dry my super dry skin and has a slight exfoliating property to it. My skin feels and looks good after using. I will be buying this product from now on.
