Husband love it
My husband is bald so this balances his head and face. No breakouts. No shine. Just a good clean. He does need a light moisturizer on his face after. It does leave him tight without it but he likes a moisturizer anyway.

Not a Huge a Help for Oil
I bought this product because I had seen where other women with oily skin conditions had bought this and had success and I love charcoal based products. I didn't have much luck with this. I wash my face in the morning and evening and by the time to wash it again rolled around it was always extremely oily. I'm even starting to have acne breakouts again.

Dramatic Improvement of Sebaceous Hyperplasia
Started using this cleanser to help with my oily skin and sebaceous hyperplasia. I feel like my pore size is reduced and the sebaceous hyperplasia is considerably less noticeable. This does not dry out my skin at all. I definitely recommend for anyone with oily skin.

I wanted to love it
I really wanted to love this cleanser. It lathers so well and feels AMAZING when you're rubbing it on your skin. But that's where the good things end :( My skin is so itchy, tight, and dry now, when it's normally oily. I think I'd rather my skin produce enough oil to run a restaurant where everything is deep fried than feel this tightness.

My husband specifically asked me to order this product for him, after he tried a sample size and felt it was a good cleanser. He has never asked me to buy anything similar like that before so he really felt it provided a good through pore cleansing.

Clinique claims this item is "allergy tested." If so, they are not telling you that it failed the test. The product is full of Methylisothiazolinone (and a second related compound.) These substances were declared the 2013 Contact Allergen of the Year by the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Clinique -- shame on you for putting one of the worst known allergens in a product you claim is 'allergy tested!"

Yes, I know this was meant for men, but I received it as a sample and fell in love with the product. I am light-fair skin that easily gets blotchy and breakouts. After a full day of wearing wakeup, this product cleans and my face feels refreshed. I have combination skin, so it doesn't dry my skin out or leave an abundance of oil. I obtain whiteheads easily, but with this product, it helps make them go away and stay away. All it takes is this product and a face cloth, so it's extremely easy to use and keep up with maintaining a clean face. Additionally, I liked that this is a charcoal product that doesn't leave a leftover charcoal residue.

I love this product and use it every day
I use this product in the am and pm to remove makeup and oil. It's wonderful. It's gentle on my face and doesn't dry it out. I'm in my 50's and have trouble finding skin care that cleans my oily skin without drying it out. I imagine it would work well for all skin types.

I have tried so many various face washes. They either didn't clean enough or left my face and hands dry. This is the first face wash I can actually feel working! You don't need much at all of it either which is awsome!! I've had it for 3 days and I can feel a difference, even hours upon hours after use. I highly recommend this!!

this past summer, i bought this on a whim for my 21-year-old brother, who's only skincare routine was salicylic acid on the occasional pimple. after a little bit of arm twisting, i showed him how to use it and dropped the subject. today he tells me that his bottle is almost empty, and he's been using the face wash almost every day! he says it gives a really refreshing feeling and makes his skin feel smoother. his skin type is normal, slightly oily in the summer.
