It is very sweet! I was hoping it wouldn’t—but it does have that strong “imitation sugar” taste. I don’t think there is any way around that distinctive taste. I think if I had a big dollop of whip cream and maybe a drizzle of chocolate and peppermint syrup- it’d taste a lot different. I don’t think this would be good with cold brew or iced coffee. Definitely a hot coffee item.

It doesn’t separate or leave an oily film, which I appreciate. Best of all, it makes my morning coffee taste like a treat while still being sugar-free. Definitely a great option if you’re trying to cut sugar but don’t want to sacrifice flavor.

The packaging says 2x richer than milk I don't believe that at all, my coffee was still not creamy when I added my preffered amount and if I added more to make it lighter it was way too sweet and im asaying that as a person who likes a sweet coffee. The artificial sweetener they use in this product is awful it leaves a weird aftertaste. This creamer is just not for me. I wouldn't repurchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start with, the Sugar-free vanilla Coffee Mate creamer is a good substitute for someone trying to reduce their intake of sugar. It has 0 grams of sugar (10 calories per tablespoon) compared to 5 grams of sugar (35 calories per tablespoon) in its comparable full sugar counterpart. I follow the Weight Watchers program and this is a great alternative to reduce the number of points per food item consumed. One tablespoon is zero points with the sugar-free version and two points with the full sugar version, so definitely something worth noting. The Sugar-free vanilla Coffee Mate creamer is creamy, but I find that the sucralose substitute is way too sweet for my liking. I wanted to like this product, but overall did not care for it as much as the full sugar version.

I didn’t notice much of that aftertaste that comes from artificial sweeteners which is a plus if you’re someone that can only have zero sugar drinks. It paired nicely with my dark roast coffee, adding a pleasant blend of vanilla flavor and subtle sweetness. Another added bonus is that a serving size (1 tbsp) is only 10 calories; so it’s great for those on a diet. I did notice that this creamer was a little on the thick side so that was kind of off putting to me. All in all, I still prefer the regular sugared option creamers but this is a good alternative for those with a sugar restriction looking to have creamer in their coffee.
