A: It could. When running down in the bottle it will frost up and leave some ice underneath it at times. I haven't been bitten by the cold that way but I guess it could if ran long enough.

We had a hard time to do this to a propane grill. So returned it. Only to find out you have to push it in hard before screwing in. Lesson learned. Hope it helps others.

Does not fit stove!
I checked the instructions on my new stove to make sure I was getting the right size. This did not screw in. Now we are stuck without being able to cook. I read some other reviews and apparently this is a known issue. I will be returning the Coleman stove and the propane ASAP.
