A: Yes it will cover wire shelving. However, it is perforated and their are other options at Target for shelf liners that are solid which will perform much better.

Great product - it is 18" wide by 8 ft long. I was able to get 6 cuts for my drawers with a little left over, and was extremely easy to cut. Absolutely nothing slides around!

I like this liner a lot--it is attractive-looking, effective, and easy to cut into the shapes I need. The roll contains quite a lot of material so you can get many cut-outs with just one purchase. I am using it as a shelf liner, as cushioning for things that might otherwise scrape or damage a surface (e.g. my fish tank and a heavy table lamp), and as something to put underneath a tablecloth to prevent it from sliding around.

I haven't actually unrolled this to use it, but buyer beware! This is 18 inches wide by 8 feet long (completely unrolled). I was expecting this to be 8 inches wide due to the item description, and was a little surprised when I got a rather large box in the mail the day this was supposed to arrive. I almost want to return it because of the sheer amount of liner I'll be wasting if I actually cut this down to size....
