I bought this and the chocolate flavor in store and they were both so good. We had a little summer bday party for my grandpa and everyone was suprised how good they were for target baked goods.

The cake looked exactly as pictured and was perfect for a small intimate gathering. Unfortunately when I picked it up for curbside, the cake was upside down in the bag :( other than that, it’s perfect!

"Frosting" is lard whipped with cream, and a strong artificial vanilla. The cake was dry and tasteless. Honestly, it was gross. This was meant for an office party, but no one finished their piece. Decent cake is cheap and easy to make. It's a shame Favorite Day can't be bothered.

Just picked this cake up and the icing has completely come off due to the bagging and carry out service. I asked if another could be swapped out (I have a baby in the car hence why I’m using the pickup service) and was told I had to go inside to exchange it. Seems messed up.

I'm honestly surprised this has bad reviews. I've ordered it a total of 4 times, highly recommend grabbing it yourself rather than drive up, but if you like your stuff on the sweeter side, you'll like this! Perfect cake to wake your kids up to and sing Happy Birthday with! Icing and the bread are loved around our home

Saw the bad reviews but thought I’d ignore them because can you REALLY go wrong with cake? Well, turns out you can. This was very artificial tasting. The cake was slightly better than the icing but that still couldn’t redeem it.

Yeah I’m not sure why the reviews for this cake are so terrible. My cake was perfectly fine, didn’t have to scrape the icing off the container, cake wasn’t upside down. The folks at my local target are awesome, they handle every order with care when I order through drive up.

The cake was smashed upside down and the icing was sliding off. Seems like maybe it was a frozen and as it thawed the icing just disconnected from the cake. I needed it in the moment thankfully I had a container of icing at home and scraped off the icing that came on the cake and did my best to make it decent.

Excellent, if your goal is to smear all frosting in the container. Tastes fine, but absolutely not worth the money if you need it for an occasion. Grab a box mix and a tin of frosting at that point.

Cake was so stale there was no moisture, yet the icing was still soft. Purchased on 2/28, opened 3/1, best by date 3/4. Aside from that, it was flavorless but for sugar taste. Unappealing, wouldn't buy again. It is nice to see Target expand bakery offerings, but this was a failure.

I This is the sweetest, sugariest cake I’ve ever tasted. The cake is nice and moist tastes very similar to pillsbury funfetti BUT sweeter and the icing is a pure sugar flavor. Heaps and heaps of sugar. Very cute for photos and nice in a pinch or if you really, really love sugar.

I should have took heed of the other reviews about avoiding this through Drive/Pick-Up because I also received mine upside down today. It was a yummy little cake like most of the "Favorite Day" products, but I didn't enjoy scraping the top and sides of it off the lid. Target: Please have your employees consider the orientation of items like baked goods when they are packing and distributing orders so products don't get damaged.
