Coola Classic Sunscreen Face Lotion - SPF 50 - 1.7oz - Ulta Beauty

I get an itchy rash to common emulsifying ingredients that are NOT in this sunscreen! There are a couple that also work for me, but this is the ONLY one that doesn't have a white cast! Please please please please never change the formula!

My favorite face sunscreen. Not greasy at all.

I LOVE Coola's Fregrance Free Organic Face Sunscreen. (I tried the Cucumber scent and it irritated my skin, but the fragrance-free is awesome.) It's expensive, but a little goes a long way. I use it daily as a moisturizer. I have not burned once while wearing it. And, my favorite thing about it is, if you sweat while wearing it, and the sweat runs in your eyes, it doesn't sting or burn at all. I have been using it for a couple of years now, and I would definitely recommend it.

Easy to apply. Absorbs quickly leaving no white cast. Keeps my fair skin from burning even in intense sun at the beach. I was allergic to the reformulation of another "sensitive skin" sunscreen brand that I had been using for years. No problems with Coola. It also does not run in my eyes when doing yard work on hot days. Putting sunscreen on to protect my skin is no longer a chore. My beach-loving hair stylist recommended Coola. She knows!!!

This product absorbs nicely, but throughout the day will pill. I don't wear any other products under or on top of sunscreen, so it's undeniably this product. Super disappointing, especially given the price. Won't buy again.

Lightweight and works well with makeup. I have sensitive skin and this feels nice and doesn’t cause any breakouts or irritation.

I love this sunblock. It does not leave a white cast. It feels light weight as if I have nothing on my skin. It doesn't make me break out clog my pores. I use it when I go on my daily walks in the sun. And I've noticed a get it keeps my dark spots in check. I've tried a ton of other sun screens and this is the best. It's the only the only one o buy.

This is a clean sunscreen that feels like skincare and is fragrance-free. For a skin comparison - my skin is normal to dry and very fair with freckles. Sunburns would be common for my skin if I didn't wear this every day.

This is one of the few face sunscreens I've tried that doesn't burn my eyes, even when I sweat!! It applies so easily and doesn't leave a film OR make my skin feel tight and dry. The consistency is somewhere between a lotion and an average sunscreen; takes no time to apply (and layers well over my other skincare) and hasn't left me with a white cast so I don't need a mirror to slap it on. So far, it hasn't broken me out or given me any kind of reaction and I've been using it almost daily for about two weeks. As someone who has always hated how sunscreen feels, this one had made getting into the habit easy and enjoyable. I plan on investing in the body formula too. Highly recommend!!

Purchased this to wear for hiking and outdoor activities. As a dark skin gal, no white cast is crucial. And this delivers well. Doesn't feel heavy or too greasy. When I sweat, there's no white streaks. Didn't break out from wearing this, but I don't wear it all day.

This beautiful product just blends into my skin perfectly. It moisturizers and protects without feeling like it's just caked onto my skin or feeling like i just lathered myself up in cooking oil. The product is perfection. It doesn't leave my skin burning or burning my eyes either. I've blending it with some of my foundation to make a tinted sunscreen and I just love it!!!!! The ingredients are clean and eco friendly as well which makes me feel guilt free every time I apply the sunscreen to my face and neck. I have mixed/combination dry and oily skin so when I put this on it seems to accomplish blending everything together and soothing the spots that need moisture and not overwhelm the spots that are oily. If you are sweating alot or in water, remember to reapply just like any other sunscreen as well. Great for a Florida girly that loves the sunshine that has mildly sensitive skin with freckles as well. Love this product and will be purchasing in the future as well.

I love this brand! I've tried it before and their products are really excellent!!! I didn't expect anything less from the sunscreen. As soon as I used it I loved it, since it's easy to blend, it doesn't leave you white, it leaves a very glowy finish but without the skin feeling sticky or too greasy... I used this sunscreen on my face and neck area over the past few weeks. I applied it both with makeup and by itself. The sunscreen looks white but does not have any white caste. Its a creamy texture when applying and has a mild fragrance, nothing strong. When applying it it feels like a second skin and not sticky and makes your skin feel and appear more plump and hydrated. What's not to love about this product?! Its vegan, cruelty free, fragrance free, water resistant for up to 80 minutes and it feels like the best moisturizer I've ever used! It truly is fragrance free- not even a hint of sunscreen smell, the consistency is thick but blends out quickly and absorbs extremely well. Its lightweight and does not leave an oily finish but does give a healthy glow. This is my first time trying Coola brand Im so impressed with them!! The first ingredient is organic Aloe, which is amazing for your skin. I tried this product for about a week and did not have any breakouts or reactions. 10 stars- the price is perfect, the bottle is great and simple to use, the quality is amazing and i was able to easily put my makeup ontop of this without any problems!! Coola SPF 30 classic face sunscreen cucumber scented is an excellent sunscreen. This sunscreen has a late cucumber sent to it which for me is not irritating. It is a non-greasy lightweight formula that does not leave a white cast. It is easy to apply, absorbs really well and quickly and does not get oily on the skin. According to the back of the product it is supercharged with antioxidant-rich plant protection complex to help fight free radicals and nourish and support the skin barrier. I'm not sure about any of that but I do know it works really well or what it is, a sunscreen. Like mentioned above there is no white cast, there is no greasy feel, but I also did not get a sunburn with this so it is very effective. To be honest, I wasn't totally sure I was going to like or appreciate a cucumber scented facial product. I have acne-prone skin and if I do something as simple as sneeze wrong (or introduce a new product, especially one with fragrance) my face will break out. Despite all that, I decided to give it a go given all its ingredients are non-comedogenic (which I confirmed by looking them up an ingredient decoder lol) plus, I needed a new sunscreen.And…..I actually really like it. The cucumber scent is definitely noticeable but dissipates quickly after applying. All of Coola's fragrances are naturally derived, with all its constituents extracted from plant sources—which I LOVE.They're also one the "few companies that choose to disclose the ingredients and constituents in all of our fragrances, so you can rest assured that you know what is in our formulas." So for that, Coola gets two thumbs up.As for the products efficacy and performance, I thought it was great. Although it's marketed as a "facial sunscreen lotion", I used it both in the morning and at night. It felt so good on my face and struck the perfect balance between hydrating and non-greasy that I decided to use it at night after my p.m. skincare routine—which surprised me, honestly. For some odd reason my lizard brain assumes a product that's marketed as being or feeling "light" won't cut it for me in the hydration department. That wasn't the case here, however, and I was glad to be proven wrong because boy, did my flakey nose and peeling chin need it.I shared in the last paragraph how I've been using this lotion both in the morning and at night because I really liked how hydrating it was and how good it felt on my skin. It wasn't at all sticky, and still gave me the feeling of being hydrating yet it was light and easy to wear.I used it on top of a hyaluronic acid serum and a water cream moisturizer. I experienced zero pilling or white-cast and it played extremely well with my makeup—so well I can see myself using it instead of a primer from now on.Overall, I really liked it. The best thing about this sunscreen is it melts into my skin, is super hydrating and is fragrance free. I don't like fragrance in my skincare products and hence I gravitate towards this a lot. It doesn't leave any white cast, feels very gentle on my skin and gives a lovely fresh glow. I wear this sunscreen and just some blush and lip tint, I am good to go about my day. Feels so lightweight and dewy without being oily. My skin absorbs the product beautifully, also because I sit on the drier side.
