amazing sunscreen. i have tested out methodically a variety of every face-based sunscreen i could find. using each one, all the way through the bottle, on a daily basis. i didnt get to all of them; but did very many and all the more common and accessible ones for sure as well as some fringe ones. but i got a very clear picture of each product and what worked well and what didnt. in general makeup brand sunscreens are far better overall than ones from non-makeup based, typical brands. anyway i did this for years in attempts to find the best one ever. that i could just use and buy every month and wear daily without thinking about it, or having any annoying problems. after all that time (around 7+ years overall probably, and i dont know how many sunscreens), once i tried this one, i stopped looking. my search was pretty much over. this was the best one by far in almost all qualities you could rate it, all metrics i was comparing on. i have even tried a few more since ive been using this one, and still none were better. rest assured, as of 2026, this is the best face sunscreen. its organic and has good ingredients, that even if landing in your eye (which WILL happen at some point) will not ruin your eyes in pain for the day (like most other face sunscreens of high spf will). it has high enough spf at 50, which is the recommended minimum or average for full protection against sun. its so quick and convenient to put on compared to other rub on ones, and other spray ones - which if you read the back tell you to spray THEN rub on or they wont fully protect. this one is formulated to protect from spraying on - no rubbing required. just make sure your face is wet enough when you spray so its not spotty coverage. it doesnt tint your skin color when on. it doesnt make your skin look too oily or moist when on (almost all sunscreens do to some degree, have yet to see one thats fully invisible). its very thin, and comfortable when on unlike many others. its soo much easier to reapply than all other sunscreens, which if youre using protecting properly means every 2 - 3 hours in the sun (all sunscreens no matter what have this rule and length of use). you just spray over your last coat on your face if your in a rush, if not, then spraying on after washing off the last coat. all in all; take it from me -- someone who is extremely methodical (to my own detriment), very patient, very detail oriented, self aware, and has the actual disorder of ocd. this is the best sunscreen out there of all makeup based brands & non makeup brands, as of mid-2026. no question.

I enjoyed the previous version with a fine continuous mist and wish for it's return. The new pump top unscrewed in transit and leaks. It smells different. It's oilier. Does not work for me anymore which is disappointing because I loved the previous version and used it daily. (I do love Coola spf face lotion.
