A: Yes they are in a normal plastic applicator.
submitted byChan - 7 years agoA: STOP BEING ABLIST IN YOUR ANSWERS! Cora tampons are one of the ONLY disability friendly tampons on the market, and it is BECAUSE of their applicator style. We NEED that defined ridge at the end of the applicator to be able to grip it to insert/remove the applicator. Your eco-screaming is making disabled people's lives so unnecessarily hard. We have periods too.

We're working on introducing a more biodegradable option this year. We also have applicator free options available :)

Q: What do you recommend? My local store only sells, by regular and light tampons or regular and super tampons. My flow is only sometimes heavy, is a regular tampon from this brand enough for a heavy flow?

Q: I am on a search for a new tampon company. A popular brand advertises as 100% organic cotton however has been in quite a few lawsuits. Do you use titanium dioxide in your tampons despite labeling?

The most UNCOMFORTABLE tampon I have ever used. The shape of them is awful. They are rectangular shaped whereas other leading brands like Tampax or L brand are more wing shaped. I included a photo for reference. If you’re used to the wing shape, these are probably going to be painful, or at least uncomfortable. And also, the applicator is poorly designed. It’s way too flimsy.

Way too expensive and difficult to insert. I don’t know what kind of slippery plastic they use for these things but it’s awful, you can’t get a GRIP ON THE Darn things! Annoying and NOT a good thing when you have ONE TAMPON in your pocket and MUST change! You can’t get it in far enough then it slides out then your fingers are sliding up and down the applicator. Dont waste your time or money

They’re really comfortable, I barely notice they’re there. I love that they’re organic cotton, no weird chemicals or fragrances. Plus, the packaging is cute and super discreet, which is a nice touch. The mix of regular and super is actually perfect for getting through the different flow days without having to buy two separate boxes. Definitely keeping these in my rotation.

No leaking and the best part is that they are organic cotton and free of fragrance and chlorine. The box I received were regular and super sizes. I am so happy to have found a product that is a necessity and at the same time not toxic. I would recommend these tampons and plan to buy other Cora menstrual products in the future.

I don’t think they worked any better than some of the more traditional brands and if anything felt slightly cheap and uncomfortable. I like that these are a cleaner product though and I feel better about using these than others. The actual wrapped tampons are small and easy to hide which is nice for trips to the bathroom at work.

However, there was no leakage. The colors of the packaging are pleasing to the eye, and I like that organic cotton is used.
