There are some key social-emotional learning opportunities with children to consider how Lula may be feeling and why, and Lula and Chip's flourishing friendship make this an excellent addition to a Christmas picture book collection, especially if a holiday collection in Spanish needs something fresh on the shelf. - The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books.
