Inspired by hand-painted tiles found in the seaside towns on the Italian coast, Corelle's Portofino pattern in classic shades of blue sets a perfectly charming table indoors or out. The 16-Piece Dinnerware Set features Corelle's classic triple-layer glass construction and offers extreme chip and crack resistance. Corelle dinnerware is microwave-safe and can be warmed in a pre-heated oven up to 350°F. Dishwasher safe for easy cleanup, the Corelle Signature 16-Piece Dinnerware Set (Portfino) is lightweight and takes up half the storage space of ceramic dishes.

Q:  if the design is hand painted with time of washing by hand or dishwasher does the design vanish ?

  • A: Hello Jessie, We recommend BAR KEEPERS FRIEND as your cleaning detergent, however the pattern should not fade as long as the detergent is non-abrasive. However, we do have a 3-year limited warranty from the date of purchase should the pattern chip, crack or fade if used within the proper use and care. We hope this helps. Have a good day.

Cute but supposed to be distressed?

I bought this set and I love the way it looks, but the pattern is like a matte finish and in some places the pattern is not all the way on the plates. It looks slightly distressed. Which I didn't see in the description. Its still cute and I love this type of Correl. I had one bowl that was "poured" wrong and has ridges all along it. I just kept the set instead of getting another. But just be aware that it may have flaws.
