Q: do these plates have ridges (lines) around perimeter of plates

A: No ridges on edges, pretty simple design
submitted byKatarina007 - 7 years agoA: They have no ridges around the top surface of the plate. There is a small ridge around the underside of the plate. I have found that the depth of the plate is enough that sauces don’t tend to spill over despite the lack of a rim.

I like these plates more than I was expecting to! Lightweight and very nice. Only problem was there were 5 in the package instead of 6. Now they’re out of stock. I hope they’re not discontinued because I need more.

Plates are light weight, attractive and made in USA. only problem was one of the plates arrived with a minor defect. choices are to keep plates or return all plates for a refund. don't feel like dealing with the hassle of return and then reordering and waiting another week for items. so I guess I will keep, but a little hesitant to order more.

I bought these for my daughter who was using square plates that chipped very easily. I sent her these plates as a gift, and she loved them so much she threw out the china plates and purchased more of these Corelle dishes. They look very stylish but still have the functionality of the Corelle brand.

Plates are wonderful! Had purchased two of this plates from another vendor, but after using them I decided I wanted more of these plates. They are simple but yet elegant. Love they are chip resistance.
No straight edges

I already had a couple of these plates (a few years old) and wanted to add to my set. These are the same size as my old ones but the quality is very different. As another reviewer said, these are VERY uneven. The edges of the plates that are supposed to be straight are incredibly curvy and warped looking. All of them are like that. They look very strange stacked on top of each other and do not match my previously plates that were made correctly. I’m not sure why Corelle can’t get their edges to be straight now?? I’m going to keep them because I don’t think another box would be any different but it’s very disappointing. You can see in my photo the top plate is from my original set, very straight, and the other edges go all over the place.

they stack well because they're so light, but are a bit uneven. The lack of uniformity is very obvious when stacked on a shelf. These get 3 instead of 4 stars because they shift in the dishwasher so that the corner sinks. Every time the rotating jets pass the plates, it hits. Hearing a repeated thumping, I had to ultimately take these out of the dishwasher to hand wash them.

Lightweight not as fancy as I would like them but then again they would probably be much heavier and easier to break and chip if they were more fancy. With 5 kids this will be perfect! Good price. Also, the plates are very big in my opinion. I would have wanted a little smaller.
