Q: wondering a few things, can the cushions be removed for cleaning? what is the seating surface like under the cushions? and how far off ground is seating surface?

A:Â The covers can, in fact be removed; they have a zipper. The covers are water resistant, but if left outside are quite prone to mildew so I don't think they're meant to be left outside in the elements.

This set was beautiful out of the box with a shiny, natural finish. Easy to put together. I love the off-white cushions. However, after one month of having this outside the top of the table has lost it's shine and color. It looks like someone sanded down the top of the table and it has an old deconstructed look. The chairs still have a shine and are losing color at the joints, but the table looks like it's from a completely different set now. I live in a dry, sunny climate and I keep this set on my patio which only gets 3 hrs of direct sun each day. I'm not sure if my set was defective, but it's definitely not weather resistant like the description states.

I bought this set to match a set I purchased last year. I was under the impression these cushions were white, but as other reviewers have mentioned, these cushions are YELLOW. They don't match my furniture and I wish this was clarified in the description as they do not match the photos.

I understand that I placed it on a balcony that receives sun for 6 hours a day in the LA heat. But it's an outdoor table! It should be able to handle that. The color faded unevenly and it looks absolutely terrible. Poor quality. It's a shame - before the fading, it was so beautiful and it's definitely comfy to sit in. By the way, it's only been out there for 8 months.

Like another reviewer noted, it was more time-consuming to unpack and unwrap than to assemble. However it was very well packed that no part came broken. Came in 2 boxes— 1 was the table and the other box contained the 2 chairs. They came 2 days apart. The color is nice and finish of the table had some manufacturer flaws like little pits, nicks, and roughness to some edges of the planks (unrelated to shipping). It will live on the deck so time will tell about the durability and potential sun damage. The finish looks like it was sealed so I think putting oil is not necessary as it would just slide off since it isn’t porous. I added my own Pottery Barn cushions for the backing. It completes the look!

This set is beautiful and good however if you think you’re getting white cushions you’re wrong so plan on buying a new set of them. The cushions with this set are an obvious yellow so keep that in mind. I would still recommend you buy this set

So far this patio set is great! It was pretty easy putting it together, honestly most of the time was spent getting the pieces out of the box and unwrapped. I love how it looks together and the table was actually bigger than I expected (not a bad thing).

Unfortunately, the holes on one of the right arm panels did not align with the holes drilled in the seat panel. I tried this arm with both seat panels, and no luck; additionally, not an issue of tightening other screws too much. The one chair I was able to assemble seems sturdy and it looks nice; however, this set was too pricy to have to deal with the pain of trying to either return or somehow fix this myself.

We just built a balcony addition to our house and I was looking for a bistro type set. This three piece set is perfect. Both the table and two chairs were easy to assemble. The chairs are surprisingly sturdy and comfortable. The set looks great and, I believe, is a steal for the price versus other sets I have seen for three to five times the price of this set.
