Follow the instructions.
It was fairly easy to assemble. It would be much easier with two people. The instructions were easy to follow and the parts were clearly labeled. I made a mistake and put the backrest on backwards. Haha. The chair is very comfortable and I put it on the patio in the shade.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Fairly comfortable outdoor folding chair. Sturdy enough, but I'm not sure it would hold more than 300 pounds. One of my chairs arrived with a slight damage to one of the legs, but still usable.

Very comfortable for people with back problems
Easy to assemble with just an Allen key. We are still a couple so the assembly process was very simple. Good back support, just what I was looking for. A bit heavy but comfort trumps all.

Easy to assemble by one person. Four chairs. Two brown and two off-white chairs have different textures though. Not a big deal, just a little surprising. (Two are from California, the other two are from Georgia.) Sturdy and comfortable. Dries quickly after rain. Wish they were stackable. Storage will be a problem when winter comes. Good value for money.
