Give me warmth

Wonderful heater!!!
The fact that they are very mobile and emit heat from ground level makes them very effective. They have multiple settings so you can control the temperature of the room quit effectively.

What do you mean by a headline- like "disappointed PLUS with
I was a bit disappointed with this radiant heater. Even at it's highest setting (1500 W), it does not do a good job of heating my family room; several cold spots, unless you are 2-3 feet away from it. My old radiant heater, after several years finally stopped working, but the company I purchased it from no longer exists. That one had no problem at all heating my family room. In fact, at it's highest setting, (1500) W) it had to be turned down because one would start to roast because of the amount of heat it provided. This one is okay, but not as good as I thought it would be.

Great heater for small spaces!
These space heaters do a great job for small rooms once they warm up good.< br />Be sure to turn them up as high as they can go until they are heated up well,< br />then adjust them as needed for the space. So far they take the chill off fine,< br />but only in small rooms.< br />< br />I live in Texas, so if you're up North where you got snow 3 feet deep you< br />might want to get a larger model or two, depending on the size of your rooms.

Warm & Toasty
Motivated by the astronomic natural gas prices, I wanted an non-gas option. This is a terrific oil heater. It takes about 30-45 minutes to notice any significant difference, so be patient. Once this heater gets going it does a great job of warming up my office space and any other room I roll it into. Prefer this over my central heat.

Not quite what I expected
Once plugged in, the light stays on whether the heat is on or not. This seems to defeat the purpose of it even having a light on it.
