The product looks great. The hydraulic pump for the lift seat is great because it needs to know the height of the countertop; and it can adjust for different heights for food prep. The footrest is also a nice feature, although I saw one reviewer criticize it because his feet couldn't reach it. I'm not particularly tall (5'7"), so I guess that reviewer must be shorter. Despite this, I only gave it 4 stars because the assembly instructions were not clear. Here are the shortcomings I found in the instructions. 1: The sides of the L-shaped bracket that holds the seat and back are not equal. The longer side is the back, and the slightly shorter side is the seat. The assembly diagram of the seat and back does not clearly show this. 2: The screws that hold the L-shaped bracket cannot be tightened individually. They must be put all in the screw holes first, and then tightened one by one until all are tightened. If you tighten three screws individually, there is a risk that the fourth screw hole will be misaligned with the hole on the L-shaped bracket. Tightening the fourth screw will be very difficult. 3. Step 3 of the instructions shows how to attach the seat to the hydraulic pump for the lift seat. The picture shows the assembly process from the top of the seat. Lifted onto the hydraulic pump. I think the view is from the hydraulic pump on the bottom of the seat because that's what the assembler saw when he was tightening the screws. 4: Unless I'm doing it wrong, it seems that the hydraulic pump only raises the seat when no one is sitting in it, and only lowers the seat when no one is sitting in it. If so, the instructions should explain this.

love these bar stools so much. They are beautiful and sturdy! They are super comfortable to sit on too. The back support is great and feels like a bucket seat. The bar is the perfect height and I love that the legs are spaced far enough apart that kids can sit on them safely without falling. I put them together myself in 5-10 minutes. The stitching looks beautiful too. I love them so much that I've already bought them a second time!

For the price, these chairs are high quality. Easy to assemble and a perfect addition to the kitchen. Doesn't look cheap and is very comfortable to sit on.

These stools are beautiful and comfortable to sit on. I ordered 3 and only received 2, but COSTWAY showed all of them as being delivered. I called the company's customer service and they confirmed that they would arrive the next day, and they did. Everything was in mint condition and all the parts were there. It was easy to put together, especially if hubby did it himself. Thanks to the commenter who replaced the brackets that hold the front and back stools so that the seating area is longer... the longer part is on the back of the chair back. This made a huge difference in the comfort of the stools. I especially like the ability to adjust the stools between counter height and bar height. It's an extra chair at the table instead of having to put them away!

Very comfortable and fairly sturdy. I've had them for about three months now and they are outdoors 24/7. I always keep them covered with large black trash can liners and always under my gazebo for shade. We'll have to see how long these leather look vinyl seats hold up in the Arizona heat though. So far they are a great deal for the price. Very happy with them.

The stools are very nice and easy to assemble. Very sturdy. It's a pity that they scratch very easily.

I always get compliments on these chairs! They arrived ahead of time and were easy to assemble - I'm not a very handy person but had no problems at all. I love the color - it goes so well with my wood and white island. Super comfortable and the height is just right. I have had no issues with scratching at all. Great value for money.

These stools are exactly what I needed for my kitchen island. The seats are easy to wipe down and we love the swivel feature. Our kids use these the most and so far they have been holding up well.

I bought two sizes because I have two armrests - different number of bars and heights. I love them so much. The hardest part was screwing the swivels to the seat. I ended up screwing both sides one turn to get it to fit. If you've screwed three sides and are trying to screw a fourth, it won't fit. Overall, I love the look and the swivels. They are very comfortable.

First of all, my order came in two boxes that COSTWAY shipped with great care. However, when I moved the boxes, I noticed that they were not sealed and there was a large tear in one of the boxes. I thought for sure there must be parts missing. I couldn't believe it, but all the parts were there and in perfect condition. The chairs were easy to assemble and sit beautifully next to my kitchen island, adding a touch of modern style. They are very comfortable and very sturdy. They are the perfect height, I am very happy with the price, and I don't think I could have found a better fit for my kitchen. I ordered the black ones and they have golden brown stitching that doesn't detract from the look of the chair at all. They are easy to keep clean and easy to move and access. I can't imagine any other chairs that I would be more pleased with. I really love them!

spent weeks searching for the perfect brown bar chairs. Turns out it was pretty hard - every review photo I looked at seemed to have a different brown! After considering about 6 sellers, I ended up choosing this one because the color seemed to be the right one. Upon opening it up, I was a little disappointed that the color was a bit darker than I expected. But it was easy to put together and I'm starting to like the chairs more and more. They're very sturdy and very comfortable to sit in. My only concern now is getting my dining chairs in this color as I had hoped to order only the 18" size from this seller but it seems they're sold out with no restock date.
