Don't buy
The stool is heavy, as indicated. However, upon assembling it, the screws were difficult to put it and the screw heads and the allen wrench both stripped. It made it impossible to securely assemble the bench. There was a ½ inch gap in 2 places. I can’t mail it back for a return, either, since I can’t disassemble it. It would have been better if they had screws with a hex head on them. I now have to return it to the store. What a waste of my time and energy

Heavy duty for the shower
Was easy to put together. Heavy and solid feeling. Like the rubber feet, it does not slide on the shower floor. Will update to advise how durable the bench is with daily water exposure.

My bathroom cabinet is perfect.
I bought this to take a shower so I could have a place to put my feet on it. But I also like to sit on it and shave. I\'m a big guy, and it\'s sturdy, feels cleaner, and goes well with my bathroom cabinet.

It is perfect. It did come with scratches on the top. Sad because they will be scratchy to sit on. I can put a washcloth on top. Odd, I read an earlier review, they were unhappy that it is heavy. I don't understand that statement with what it was being used for. ( for myself and that writer) It is for sitting on in your shower. If you are handicapped or not, If I plan to set on something in a shower, I want it to be heavy and securely not sliding around.

VERY heavy, difficult to assemble
If I had seen this in person before purchasing I wouldn't have bought it. It is advertised as a "shower bench" but it looks more like outdoor furniture. I debated returning it, but decided to keep it to avoid a hassle and because it is the perfect size for my bathroom. I'll probably sew a cover for it to dress it up. It is VERY heavy. If you are planning to move it in and out of a tub, I would strongly recommend you get something else. The directions say "We recommend that, where possible, all items are assembled near to the area in which they will be placed in use, to avoid moving the product unnecessarily once assembled." It is odd to me that they recommend against moving this bench once assembled. Even though it only has 8 screws to assemble it, it took over a half hour to assemble. The screws are a very tight fit (a good thing) but the low quality allen wrench supplied isn't up to the task. Two of the holes didn't line up well. I like assembling things and am competent at it, but this one was much more difficult than it should have been.
