Looks good, very solid, very strong.
Looks good and easy to assemble. I have a few friends who are on the heavier side and I used to worry about them sitting in my old squeaky wooden chairs and not being comfortable. But with this chair I don't have to worry about that, it's very sturdy.

Description is misleading!
The description details that the chairs are upholstered. This statement is false! These chairs are not upholstered, they only have very thin seat cushions that need to be strapped to the chairs. With small children in the house, the seat cushions cannot be secured to the chairs. The straps for the seat cushions also break, leaving a floppy seat cushion that constantly falls off. When ordering the chairs, we were misled to believe that the chairs would be upholstered (i.e. permanently attached) to the chairs. The only reason I kept these chairs is because my old chairs all fell apart and could not be repaired. I'm giving three stars because these chairs are sturdy and they were easy to put together. However, if you are looking for a truly upholstered chair, not a hard-bottomed chair with a thin seat cushion, these are not for you.

They are cute but a little smaller than I thought. The cushions were easy to install. The cushions are not as soft as I would like but they are adequate.

Very strong
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and sturdiness of these chairs. They look great and were easy to put together. My husband is a bit larger and needed a dining chair that would support his weight and allow him to stand up easily from a seated position, and these chairs did not disappoint. Great value for money!

Difficult to assemble
Firstly, these chairs took me over two hours to put together (and I consider myself to be very good at putting furniture like this together). The pieces are made cheaply and the holes don’t align perfectly, making it extremely hard to get all the screws in place. You also have to drill directly into the back of the backrest, which feels so wrong. The directions say you can use a screwdriver, but you can’t, you really need a drill and even then it is very hard to do. The chairs are very light and not super comfortable. This all being said, at $122 for two chairs they look decent, which is why I’m giving them 3 stars. I’ll recommend them for the price, but I wish someone had warned me what I was getting into!!

Great for families
These chairs were exactly what I was looking for. My old maple chairs were worn and rickety from years of use by my four grandkids. I wanted new chairs to go with our beautiful dining table. Oh my, it was torture to find chairs that looked good and would fit our family. I was always bumping my elbows on the high back chairs and the back legs of the mid-century chairs were sticking out and tripping us. In the end, these chairs fit our room perfectly and made the space feel so much more spacious. I wanted black chairs to complement our decor. A simple set of waterproof chair covers and I got what I was looking for! I knew the metal frames would definitely stand up to the kids because these chairs have been used in the dining room for years and they still look great even with frequent use. The compact chair frames are also totally fine for the big guys in our family. The chairs leave plenty of room under the table so that the family doesn't kick each other when they gather for dinner. I highly recommend. These chairs are a great value for the money because they last so long and are a great buy.
