Item states WATERPROOF, but it is not. When it rains water gets in AND when you life the cover after it has stopped raining, the water comes in from the back into the inside.

Poor instructions, missing pre-drilled holes
At first the box seemed simple enough to put together until the last step, installing hinges. There were no clear instructions or pictures. I looked at several online videos in order to figure out how to do it - only to find out that they forgot to pre-drill some of the holes. At this point, I’m done with the box and will be returning it. I would expect better instructions for something that cost this much money.

This storage box held 2 medium & 1 large summer cushions, 4 small pillows, a rope hammock & the stand broken down, and 1 small spider through a rainy summer and NE winter. Outdoor Southern exposure caused NO Fade. Strap Hinges. Padlock Closure Front. Best part -- NOTHING GOT WET!!!

I love this
It has good storage, would have been easier to put together with two people but as one person with not a ton of strength I was able to put it together by myself. It looks great, it locks, It has lots of room. You can lock it if you wish.

Honestly what more can i say other than it was easy to put together. I use this to store hay for my daughters bunny and i keep it outside. Naturally i was worriesd about the elements but Its worked great at keeping water out which was my main concern. All in all, a great storage bin. Coincidentally it matches my pation furniture so huge bonus. Highly recommend

Durable and leak proof
Great storage container! This option was the most adorable while not downgrading on quality. I put my outdoor patio cushions in them when not in use due to the very hot Georgia summers! This container has been through many storms and has not leaked at all. It's been through one very hot summer and I haven't noticed any fading, bending, or deformities. The product was very easy to put together and for as big as it is, it isn't very heavy. I can put two side chair bottom and top cushions and two long chair top cushions in the box. My long chair bottom cushion would not fit so I have to store it inside.

Assembles in a snap!
In order of importance to me- airtight, easy to assemble, roomy, attractive, outdoor patio storage trunk and this one checks all my boxes! I've marked 4 stars for "weatherproof" because I live in a desert with extreme temperatures (no rain) but sandstorms. So, until the storage box goes through a spring, summer, fall season I won't know if the plastic material holds up. (aka doesn't melt/sag) and if it's sandstorm airtight proof. I must reiterate, this trunk assembles with ease! I'm a senior and had NO problem. I just snaps together.

I really like the box. It was noon when I assembled it, and I noticed it wasn't hot at all inside.Some boxes will get hot if exposed to the I put it on the unused balcony,it can storage a lot of things.Of course it is also waterproof.
