Size and sturdiness were on par. Quality control is lacking. Get 80% through the assembly process only to find out that one panel was machined incorrectly. Had to use four screws to fix the issue. Luckily this piece was going into a closet out of sight.

I ordered 2 of these and the manufacturer did not drill the holes correctly for one of the side walls. It was this way in both packages so that was upsetting after getting them both almost completely built and they did fit

It was super easy to assemble following the instructions that came in the box. My box was badly damaged, but considering there was a secondary box inside, I think that was an Costway shipping error rather than a manufacturer issue. The bookshelf is still in great shape and can hold all my books, with each shelf neatly organized. I've had it for three months now and it's still in great shape! Remember to dust the top though, as the black shell will clearly show dust in most lighting.

The height was perfect and it was fairly easy to put together. Just make sure the unfinished side of the shelf is facing the bottom. When assembling the second section I mistook the top for the bottom and put the shelf the wrong way around. It was easy to fix and just took a little time to correct. Once assembled it looks great and is perfect for displaying my blocks which is what I wanted. Very sturdy and seems to hold up heavier items with ease. One thing to note is that when I tried to remove the little sticker marking the backing it peeled off some of the finish so be careful. I left the rest as I didn't want to mess with the rest. Didn't really notice them since one shelf was full anyway. Overall I'm very happy with this shelf and found it easy to assemble. Recommend as it's a good sturdy product.

The Costway bookshelf is such a great addition to my home! It was quick and easy to put together, and I really appreciated the video instructions they sent via email - such a thoughtful touch that made the whole process so much smoother. The bookshelf feels solid and secure thanks to the included wall mount, and the design is sleek and practical. I especially like the storage at the bottom, which provides extra space for organization. All in all, it's a really great deal and looks great in my space!

I have assembled a number of flat-pack furniture from a variety of companies over the past year, and this bookcase was by far the easiest to put together. The instructions were very detailed and helpful (much better than Ikea's). The parts were clearly labeled and the stickers peeled off cleanly. The hardware was pre-sorted and packaged in individual bags, also clearly labeled. Extra hardware was included in case you needed it. The bookcase itself is what you would expect for a piece of furniture at this price point - not a fine piece of furniture, but functional and good looking. The rounded edges on the top are particularly eye-catching.

The Costway Double Bookcase is a basic, no-frills storage solution. It's lightweight and easy to assemble, making it a great choice for small spaces. The dark wood finish isn't the best, but it looks pretty nice. It can easily hold books and decorative items, but it doesn't have a lot of weight to it. It's a good choice if you need a lightweight cabinet that's simple and affordable - but it might not be the best choice if you're looking for extra durability.

Overall, I like this set of shelves. The width is perfect for the space I have it in, but it would be nice if it had a little more depth. I love that the shelves in each area can be moved or removed to make room for tall items as needed. It was easy to install and even though they recommend two people to install it, I could have done it by myself. Looks like good quality and is very sturdy. I will buy again.

This thing is such a bargain and is very attractive. It's a dark gold color, not super shiny. It was easy to put together without over tightening the screws. It's sturdy enough for me. It doesn't move around when I load and unload things. I keep it in my home office, but it would work in any room of the house. It's the perfect size for the small space I need.
