Q: Can you set it down directly on a table or do you have to attach the legs?

A: We recommend that it is best to use it with legs. Because there is a fan underneath, raising it higher will prevent the motor from overheating.

Air Hockey is Awesome
It is a lot of fun, it is easy to assemble but it takes two people to flip it over and only one person to assemble it, it has stood up to the abuse we have had it for over a year now and it is the same size as my pool table.

Death Glow Ice Ball
The kids had a blast but the glow in the dark puck died on the first day and there was no way to recharge it at that time, you also had to watch your finger on the switch on the push stick and we had to replace those switches to prevent cut fingers.

Make the slot a bit bigger :)
So far so good, hubby assembled it easily and everything worked as we expected. But it was very difficult to score a goal - if you put the blocker in the middle of the goal, the ball doesn't go in. The blocker for the goal needs to be bigger, I would recommend getting a smaller blocker so that the ball can go in. We tested it briefly and it's a gift for our child's 10th birthday in 2 weeks!

Lightweight, high energy, it's game time.
What can I say but get into the game, it took a while to set up but when everything is done, light weight so it is mobile and when you add the batteries the sensor picks up the scores very well... Adults and kids alike will love it, bring it to a party to do other things, it's a hit... Let's play.

Great air hockey table
We always play table hockey when we go to the arcade. It's two dollars per game, but it's too expensive for a game that takes only a few minutes. I'm going to buy one for my kids to play at home. The quality is slightly different from the table hockey in the arcade, but it doesn't affect the fun. The kids love it and I think it's worth the money. The price is also reasonable and within my acceptable range. When I received the package, I was worried that it would be too difficult. It turned out to be very simple and it took about half an hour to complete it according to the instructions. The kids even asked the neighbors to come and play.

Modern air hockey table
A great addition to my bonus room. I love the modern design with neutral colors. It's heavy duty but not so heavy you can't move it around. Its's very fun for all ages to play. My son is 3 and he can play it, he just has to use a step stool to reach. The score board is a great part of the table. It lights up and has sound. I added small sticker numbers to easily look at the score because my kids would pause the game to count the little lights to keep track of the score. You plug in the table to get the fan to turn on the table. You have separately power on the score board to turn that part on. The score board is powered by AAA batteries. It took a little while to build and set up but wasn't too hard. The game is fun and great to have in a room that isn't your typical game decor game room. The price was under $400 when I bought it so it's a great value.
