Not the finish expected but not bad overall

The wood finish parts are much lighter than pictured not a warm honey brown more like an ashy pale brown. When I open the box I thought maybe we had received the wrong item because the difference was so dramatic. Also, expect to spend a couple of hours putting this thing together, there are a lot of pieces and assembly required; the instructions said it should take two people one hour. It took me and a very helpful toddler about three hours to get it all put together. Other than the surprising finish and intense assembly it seems sturdy and works well as a tv stand.
