Q: Does it fold flat for storage when not in use? There are two different designs for this--one with metal hinges (does not fold flat) and this one with plastic hinges. Does this one fold flat?

You get what you pay for.
This is very light weight it has difficulty standing on its own. The 4 panels do not fold together for storage. You must disassemble the whole screen from the hinges to store this away. The panels are very sheer to let light through which is its best quality. The fabric panels are held in place with velcro, the panels barely fit the frame. There are mo clear assembly instructions for this product a few pictures however you must figure it out entirely by yourself.

I purchased two of these products. First one had one of the poles severely dented on the top piece. If I really cared I would have sent it back. But it's going in the part of my house where it just doesn't matter. Picture two - a couple of the tubes were slightly flatten. I took a set of pliers and was able to make it more "rounder" by shoveling the pliers in the tube. The last two tubes I put together I noticed instantly that they felt like a better-quality metal. Thicker metal. With big hopes I put them together - they didn't fit. But with some tape it works fine for my needs. They are light weight - easy to carry once they are together (and taped?) Sturdiness - wouldn't count on it.

Versatile Product
It was very useful for all sorts of things in my house. Dividing things, separating things, I personally enjoyed this product. In my opinion, it's quite durable too, love the product.

Looks nice, but is a little wobbly.
I like that's easy to assemble and lightweight, but if you don't stagger the sections properly it can fall over. It does let light in. It's good for the price as long as you don't have kids or pets running around that may knock it over. If it won't be disturbed it should be ok.

Works In A Pinch
It did what I needed it to do - mainly, provide a plain, white background for an important Zoom call. Assembly wasn't too bad - 30 min or so - but the product isn't the sturdiest, and one of the frames was missing a piece - so it's flopping about a bit. I wouldn't buy again, but it was helpful for what I needed it to do.

Disappointed in the companies word
I like these screens, but I received 2 of the same end pieces, emailed the company of the mistake, they said they would send the rig piece, but haven't received anything in months. So the last screen is useless. Hope they come through with their word.

Not Sturdy
I will probably end up returning this one. It was really hard to put together, though, and is not that sturdy. I feel like it will fall over at any moment. Also, the gaps between sections are larger than shown in the pictures, so for privacy, I had to position the screen just right to make sure the gaps were in the right spaces. It was difficult to put together because the whole thing does not stay together until you put the curtains on. I did not realize this, so it would be best to build one complete section at a time with the curtain on so the legs do not keep falling off. The instructions show one picture on putting it together but no direction really as to how to do it or the best way to do it.

It is what it is for the price it is
It is somewhat flimsy and doesn't fold up the whole way. You can't fold it more than 90 degrees. There were no step by step directions either. You pretty much had to try to match the picture. I didn't find it to difficult to do that but it definitely would have been easier with directions. I have it 4/5 stars instead of 3 though because it is a esthetically pleasing and will do the job just fine. The white material is a nice sturdy canvas like material and not very shear at all. There are slots in between the panels but those go away when folded at a certain point and they're so thin anyways. I've seen bathroom stalls with a bigger gap. It's a good size overall. It's decent quality for the price it is. I like it a lot overall.

Very Cheap Product
I assembled it and it is a super-cheap, low quality product. If you lift it up, make sure to lift holding the bottom bars because it will easily fall apart. I will be reinforcing it with packaging tape. Recommend that you buy another product instead.

Very useful.
I came up with a great idea for the use of this room divider. I take care of my aging Mother and we have to keep a port-a potty in the corner of her bedroom so to give her some privacy and for it not to be noticeable in the bed room I put this room divider to help cover that corner. Bedroom looks 100% better and she likes the privacy.
