have a portable smoker that is a tabletop type that I wanted to use more but never had the right place to do it safely. This metal cart/table solved my problem. The top can hold up to 440 pounds without wobbling. It is simple to assemble. It is 17 inches deep and about 43 inches wide. I can use it as a prep table and then move the smoker onto it to cook/smoke. It is 30 inches tall which is comfortable for both me and my very tall husband. It looks well made and has welded joints. I don't use the spice rack or paper towel holder or even the bottle opener but those features make it much more versatile. The downside is that my propane tank is particularly large and can't fit underneath, but it would be fine next to the table. The bottom shelf is also screwed in so you need to unscrew it to actually fold it up for portability. I don't plan on traveling with it so if I decide not to use it in the winter I will just roll it into the garage and fold it up.

often get overwhelmed when I open the box and see several small packages filled with nuts, bolts, etc. Although it took me quite some time to assemble this cart, it looks great when I'm done. I especially like the fact that the gas tank is placed at the bottom to make it unobtrusive.

To be fair, I read the reviews and was concerned about some of them. I usually look at the reviews in a high to low ratio and look at the lowest first. Most people complained about assembly issues, but a few said that this thing was "poorly made." Well, it's plastic, but well designed. There are rebars on the top and second shelf for added strength. Install extra brackets and screws to secure it further. It took me 30 minutes to assemble. It's all in the pictures, but each part has the part number printed on it for quick reference. The only problem was that I didn't notice which side the handle was on and ended up having to pull it out to move it. That was my mistake. (Hint: the handle is on one end, there are no wheels.) This cart looks great and is large enough to store a lot of stuff when grilling or just hanging out. The door is a little worn, but it stays closed, which is nice. It's much better engineered than I expected. I think the stainless steel countertop will definitely scratch over time, but that's okay. I really don't want to put glass on the table. I've seen some reviews saying they keep propane tanks in it. I probably wouldn't do that. First of all, I don't like to keep tanks in sealed places. Secondly, I think the bottom might get warped over time. Thirdly, we use different grill styles for different dishes so I move it around a lot. I highly recommend this table.

The bolts that hold it to the frame got stuck in the frame and couldn't be removed. Had to use self-tapping screws to put some of the parts together. The screws on the handle were too long and I had to put several washers in. I was thinking of returning it but since most of the parts are already assembled it would be a hassle. Would not recommend. If you want to assemble it, be careful not to break the boat. I assembled it by hand but I can't read it.

This thing looks like it's made of injection molded polypropylene and is extremely poorly made. There are sharp bits of plastic stuck to every seam. Some of the sharp bits of plastic can interfere with the actual assembly of the machine. The machine is a snap-on design. You plug the parts into the designated positions and the plastic snaps snap in and lock the parts in place. Pretty simple, until you realize that a part doesn't fit right because there are bits of plastic all over the internal mechanism. My machine didn't snap in very well. I was a good portion of the way through the assembly when I realized that a certain connector just wouldn't snap in. The other end of the piece that wouldn't snap in did. So my machine was permanently installed but only one end was broken. Customer service suggested that I use a hair dryer to blow it and then yank it apart. I said, "Won't that break the connector?" They didn't even answer my question, just gave me the same instructions again. I said, "Will I be able to put it back together after doing this?" They said "Of course you can." Well, I did, heated the connector with a hair dryer to soften the plastic, and pulled it apart - and surprise, surprise, the connector was actually broken! So I took the broken part out. The broken part itself is definitely broken. The part it's connected to might also be broken, but I have no way of knowing for sure until I get a replacement. If the other part is broken, I'll have to take that out too... but it's connected to four other parts, and the connection is also snap-on, so it's not removed. That would damage four other parts, and so on, until all the parts I've already assembled are broken and need to be replaced. What a terrible design. Customer service is only willing to replace half, so... what do I do? My device cannot be assembled according to the instructions, and removing the broken or defective part seems to damage other parts. It looks like the only option is to disassemble the whole thing and send it back to costway. (Sidebar: They told me it would take 10-12 weeks to replace the defective part. I'm definitely going to return it, and I don't want to keep a bulky, defective product worth hundreds of dollars for three times longer than the return period hoping that their replacement part will work.)
