A: @Lola - Clean up is straight forward, but a little different than other types of cookware. Here are a few tips to make it a fast and easy process. First, wash while warm. Then hand dry and lightly rub with cooking oil. After that it can be stored or start your next meal. Stuck on food can be softened by heating water for about 3-5 minutes.

A: Rust forms when the cookware is exposed to moisture for extended periods and is not harmful in any way. To clean the pan after cooking, rinse with warm water, hand-dry, and promptly rub with cooking oil. If left out to air dry, it will rust. Be sure to store the cookware in a cool, dry place, keeping it away from humidity around a sink or dishwasher.
You can restore your cookware with the steps below:
1. Scour the surface with hot, soapy water and an SOS or Brillo pad. It is okay to use soap this time because you are preparing to re-season the cookware.
2. Rinse and hand-dry thoroughly.
3. Apply a very thin, even coating of vegetable or canola oil to the cookware (inside and out). If you use too much oil, your pan may become sticky.
4. Place the cookware in the oven upside-down on the top rack.
5. Place a large baking sheet or aluminum foil on the bottom rack to catch any excess oil that may drip off the cookware.
6. Bake at 400 F for 1 hour.
7. Allow to cool and repeat steps 3-6 as necessary to achieve the classic black patina.

Trust Target!
This is a great pan for grilling on any kind of heat, and it comes with a protective silicone handle cover. But the great thing was the way Target's corporate office stood behind its sale. When I picked up my pan, I unknowingly was missing the silicone handle cover. Target not only replaced the pan and handle, but it had it delivered to me so I didn't have to make a trip to the store at 81in a heat wave. This was one of the most pleasant and positive shopping experiences I've ever had, even with the little glitch at first. Target is a very trustworthy store!

rust after each wash
After each use and washing the pan rust would form. I have had multple griddle pans and never before did rust form. The griddle interior is too high and does not cook well. This is an inferious product, price represents quality here.I returned. I would not recommend this product.

I’m baffled as too how the handle from this CAST IRON pan broke off ; this grill pan would’ve received five starts other than that ; i really did like the pan but i don’t think any would be able to explain it breaking and I’m very saddened by it.

I now know grill pans are awful to clean and season. The grill marks make it near impossible to scrape it and evenly coat with oil for seasoning. A nice sear on a regular cast skillet is much better and now this just sits in my cabinet

Great Grilling Pan
I purchased via online and picked it up at my local Target store. The pan is quite heavier then what I was expecting. Due to the heaviness some may need to lift the pan with both hands. However, it did an amazing job at grilling my chicken breast. The chicken had beautiful grill lines and it was moist and tender. The company provides an excellent little video here on Target’s website and app on how to use their pan to get the perfect grilled chicken.

Not a good buy, go for the grill/griddle
Inadequate for anything other than a plain steak. Difficult to get a spatula under anything, especially between the walls. It's cast iron, so you can't clean it with anything other than chain-mail, which is difficult to get between the grill marks. Seasoning it is also difficult because the depth of the walls and the odd angles you're forced to wedge a towel between: be careful not to get burned. don't go for this, go for the lodge cast iron griddle with grill on the opposite side. That's what I'm going to get next.
